They definitely Photoshop pretty much every single woman. They do it to men too. For men they would probably shop the jawline, muscle definition, and if it's an underwear shoot, then definitely the bulge

I'm going to go against the grain and say Kate Upton doesn't really look all that different. Her pose makes her arm fat look less bunched up and they smoothed her stomach and muffin top a tad.
Also her body is hot, people.

I wouldn't say she's average. I think there are a lot of everyday women who have better bodies than her since her torso is obviously really wide and like many have said she seems disproportionate.

Photoshop isn't all they use. As a photographer I know lighting plays a huge difference. Lighting, posture, then maybe photoshop.
Yes people do photoshop to make the model look better, but there are other tricks up the sleeves!
