Anyone else think jeans are uncomfortable to wear?

I swear I've been trying for years to wear jeans. I've tried it again and again because people (especially girls) kept telling me it just makes me look better. I know that my current girlfriend is accepting of me not wearing them but she would love to see me in some tight jeans. Unfortunately, I can't fulfill her this wish. They're just so freaking uncomfortable in my opinion. And it's not about the size (I've tried many different ones). It's about the material. I don't like the fact that it's so rough on my skin. You can call me a pussy for saying this but it's just so annoying if I can't concentrate on anything during the day because my skin feels so irritated. I have to scratch my legs a lot and sometimes in the evening, when I took them off, certain parts of my legs used to be kinda red from the constant friction with the jeans material. I also don't appreciate how my junk feels like it's locked into a tiny box or something like that. And the worst part is putting them on right after the pants having been in the laundry. It literally feels like torturing yourself with sand paper. I like cotton pants a lot. I'm a big fan of cargo (not just because of the material, I also like the design). Unfortunately, most people in my environment think I would look more handsome if I wore jeans. And maybe they're right... but I just can't do it. I've been struggling with this dilemma for several years and with the fact that all my friends and family members think I'm being a little weird about this. So I'm wondering... is there anyone else like me out there? Anyone who just hates wearing blue jeans even if you perhaps think they'd look cool on you?

I personally love wearing denim. for most of the reasons why you don't. I don't have many sensitivities when it comes to fabric - with the acute exception of polyester. hate it, it makes my skin crawl.

I like denim because it is dense and constructing. I feel like it keeps my body together... does that make sense? I'm contained when I wear denim.

I do have a friend who is very very sensitive to fabrics, and they don't wear denim hardly at all. they, like you, opt for a softer cotton, loose fitting pant.

As far as looking good? If you're not comfortable it shows, and if your not comfortable or confident, people generally don't look their best.

Also, screw them! it's not their body. let them wear denim if they like it so much. (:

also - I don't wear skinny pants - too constricting!! and I hate the denim with stretch... it never stays up over my butt.
I wear men's straight leg or wide leg jeans - women's pants never ever fit me.

Jeans are comfy if theyre a nice fit that i feel i can actually walk in. However, with my shape, finding a good pair of jeans is SUCH a pain.

I always need a belt sinnce my waist is significantly snaller than my hips, and i always have to roll the ankles up since the legs r never my size.

They are really comfortable stretchy jeans out there that makes wearing tight jeans comfortable, but they're much more expensive and get holes even faster.

Oh man, jeans are so uncomfortable! I only wear them either when I'm doing some serious work, so's to keep from scraping up my legs/cause I don't mind them getting dirty, or to actually look good, though I seriously doubt I do. I prefer a more laid back attire, sweats and more comfortable slacks.

Get some better jeans. Try some AGs. I wasn't too keen on Levi's but I love my AGs.

It really depends on the fit and material. I have 2 pairs that don't even feel like jeans. And no they are not jogjeans, they're actual jeans.
