So here's my question. Since most girls think man buns are not cute, why do so many guys want them? My guess is "hot" girls like them. A certain type of girls, maybe college sluts and party girls who are well dressed, smell great and are very cute/pretty and sexy. So is the whole man bun thing just a result of college party life?

I think some men pull it off, complimented by a beard. I believe Chris Hemsworth is a pretty good looking dude with a man bun when he has a beard. The main actor of Sleepy Hollow seemed to pull it off as well, but I think for the majority of us, it looks ridiculous.
