Am I too old for the grunge style?

I was quite a nerd in high school and a late boomer in (too) many things. When girls were chit-chatting about the new beauty guru's videos on YT, I was waiting for the Witcher game and nothing else mattered to me lol Simply said, I started to care about fashion and similar stuff much later than the others. But now I feel like this style is just for young teens (14-16) or am I wrong? I'm not sure if it's just me (I do overthink things a lot) but I feel like I'm supposed to dress different.. eh. I don't really know how to explain it better.

It's like.. I'm soon to be 19 but what I want is to dress as a 16 year old girl, the way I want because now I actually have the money, a little bit of confidence and wishes to actually buy the stuff I want.

It is fine to dress like that from time to time, but just remember you now have more responsibilities since you are an adult. This requires being a touch more professional than grunge, and dressing grunge might attract people that you may or may not want to be associated with.

Bottom line is it's entirely up to you, but keep in mind where you are trying to move in life.

I like to dress just partly grunge. Like, I combine those grunge clothing pieces with other stuff I have at home and it usually ends up looking as the style you can see tumblr. As I said in my post, I never had the confidence to wear this but now I don't care as much, but I was unsure if it's not ridiculous for my age. I feel like I have to ultimately transform into an adult in every way and it kind of sucks because my confidence showed up too late lol if you understand me.

I honestly had to look up what you meant by grunge. I'm not into fashion at all, and my knowledge of fashion extends about as far as plaid shirts and jeans.

I see several girls that will dress like that into college and even into life, but it's not too common in my area, and I never see them within the people I normally interact with. Usually people grow out of grunge/punk/goth/scene clothing by the time they hit their late twenties because they just liked the clothing, and didn't associate with that type of lifestyle or culture.
