I usually like bangs. I don't think I've ever seen a girl with bangs and immediately thought "oh wow you'd look better without them". But it does suit some people more than others.
I used to have bangs for yeeeears, both a sideswept and a regular mid part one. It suited my face, but I was also really embarrassed over my forehead for some reason. I thought it looked big. Then I discovered that dyeing or slightly coloring in my eyebrows with makeup made my forehead less big (my hair is naturally super blonde), so then I started growing my bangs out. Now I like how open my face feels, like I'm not hiding behind a curtain. But getting bangs is def something girls should try if they're bored with their current hairstyle, it's a nice way to mix things out. And they grow out within a couple of months anyway, so no harm done.

Depends on the facial features. Sometimes bangs bring out the best features, sometimes they hide them. I have no idea what I'm talking about.

Layered bangs look fine on everyone. It's the straight cut bangs that only look good on some people.
