You don't see them on models because they are covered with makeup and/or their photos are retouched.
I've got copies of Playboy proofs with areas circled for airbrushing (mostly stretch marks) from the 70s and 80s, along with other common flaws that get removed. You need to assume that every single photo that you see from the 60s onwards has been retouched, because professional photos always are, and today, it's virtually required because few people are interested in the reality.
Stretch marks are obviously not "desired" in that no one who doesn't have them wishes they did, but they are also incredibly common and most guys accept that in the real world, most women will have them and it's not a big deal. Lots of guys have them too, especially if they grew a lot in their teens or started working out.
If you make a big deal about your own stretch marks, you will almost always make it worse for other people, who otherwise would have just accepted them and moved on.
No, they are normal and they don't bother me at all. In fact, I think they are interesting
Interesting? How so?
I guess they are interesting because it's a a sign of the person. What I mean by that is it's like a mole, or a freckle that is unique to this person. It's special, because it's theirs. But even more than that, this has significance for their history. Maybe they were heavier, and the stretch marks were all that was left after they worked hard and became fit. Or maybe they grew really fast, and the stretch marks the show the areas that were strained as they got bigger. Or maybe she was pregnant, and those are the signs of the children she carried.
The point is, that when you are in love you don't love the person's body because of how close it is to an ideal or something like that, you love it because it is a beautiful part of this person.
That's exactly it, they're normal and I don't think anything of them. From a question I asked before, the vast majority of guys said they didn't care either. Hell, some people even think they're attractive. Of course there will be people who say they're a turn off, but it's a smaller group.
Point is, it's such a small thing that likely won't affect the way somebody feels about you, and if it does, that's not somebody you want to be with.
I feel like the stretch marks in the photos are a bit much. I think it shouldn’t be something to make a fuss about if there were just a little bit of unnoticeable stretch marks but I just don’t feel like my body is “normal” with them on me? Maybe it has a lot to do with them not being celebrated much on social media but I don't know I just don’t feel 100% sexy and I want to so that’s why I wanna get them removed. I literally haven’t seen anyone with as many stretch marks as in those pics so it bothers me even more. :/
I get it. I had a lot of stretch marks similar to the first picture (they've faded over time) and I didn't feel good with them either. A few of my friends also have them, it doesn't take away at all from their beauty. Social media is toxic anyways, try not to pay it much mind. Of course, it's your body and you're completely entitled to get them lasered if it'd make you feel better, but I assure you, stretch marks or no marks, your body isn't abnormal in any way.
@Clo917 Yes! SO WELL SAID! 👍💙 What you said is so true. The vast majority of guys just simply are not bothered by stretch marks whatsoever, and like you said, there are even guys out there (such as myself) who also find them attractive!
A woman with stretch marks is not "flawed". AT ALL. The OP is beautiful just the way she is and the vast majority of us guys wouldn't want her any other way. For us guys, stretch marks aren't something to "have to accept". Not even in the slightest. They are a natural and beautiful part of anyone's body. Not only do women have them, but men do too. Even I do! I have learned to adore mine and she (the OP) can too! Not because someone who has them "has to", but because they are a part of your body and they are worth loving too!
I don't see stretch marks as "flaw" marks, I see them as BEAUTY marks. Many guys do. At worst, guys will feel completely neutral about them and will love her, regardless, and at best, guys will absolutely adore her for having them.
Stretch marks don't make a woman "flawed". It's only a guy who CAN'T accept them who is flawed. 😉 But as the poll shows, they are the minority. Stretch marks are awesome! 👍 End of story.
@Asker The pictures you posted aren't "too much" at all. They are beautiful with them. They are NO different, and NO LESS beautiful with them than without them. And neither are you! You could have TEN times as many and you'd still be beautiful! 💙
Not too long ago there was a guy here on GAG that summed up women with stretch marks PERFECTLY and he got a ton of thumbs up for it too. He was also your age (if that matters), but this is what he said:
"You could look like a tiger drawn on a crumpled piece of paper and we'd still see you as beautiful."
^^^Absolute truth spoken. 👍💙
Learn to love them, because us guys already do. 😉
Stretch marks are sexy...
It's like being with a tiger woman
I am a girl and I've always frowned at other women being insecure because of stretch marks. Personally, being someone who has a lot of insecurities, you'd think stretch marks would affect me but surprisingly it doesn't. Its just not a big deal really lol.
If a guy can't be with you because of a few faded marks on your skin, don't bother waste your time or energy on him.
Are scars a turn off? Really, somoene has to be really shallow to reject anypne for it or the other person must have horrible stretchmarks.
Also, you can't really remove them completely, just fade them.
Yes they are. I used to have them but I got rid of them using bio oil. It’s effective. Use it.
How many times did you use it and for how long did you massage it in? Did you just use bio oil?
Yes I only used bio oil. I used it for 4 months. I used it two times a week and just took 5 minutes to massage.
Ok I’ll try that thanks! But I heard that it only works if your stretch marks are new and red not if they’re old and then white. Was that the case for you?
www.amazon.ca/.../B004AI97MA by the way Is this the bio oil you used? If not do you mind linking me it if you can find it x
Yep! That is right one. It will work for you. Some of my friends used it as well and it worked for them in 2 months. I wasn’t consistent so it took longer. You have to use it everyday.
That's sad. She should learn to embrace them. The vast majority of guys do and she should too. Her having stretch marks does not make her "flawed" or "unattractive" in any way. Nor does it make her "less than" for having them. Stretch marks are a natural part of anyone's body and there is no shame in having them. Even I have them! And I fully embrace mine. There is nothing better than someone who is comfortable in their own body. She's beautiful the way she is. Stretch marks and all. 👍💙
@BlueWalker Certainly... They are no big deal. But if there is a simple way to get rid of them, I don't see any harm and there is no need to discourage them to do so. My only worry would be that I hope it is fully organic and there are no alternate effects of using bio oil.
@HaveNoName But that's the thing, you're underlining my point: if they are no big deal (because they aren't - you agree as well), then why is it something we need to "get rid of"?
We become brainwashed to the media and how it influences our culture, and what beauty supposedly "is" and "isn't". But what we see in the media, as well as so many of the stereotypes and insecurities we have in our culture don't speak to what REALITY actually is. It distorts our world view, our self-worth and self-image to the point of not being able to see what TRUE beauty is and what it includes for so many people.
Because of our insecurities, it can cause us to become blind to reality. GAG can be a great example of that. Case in point: despite 70% of guys and 100% of women saying they don't mind them at all (as of this posting), we tend to distort reality (the poll) toward our own fears. It's bias confirmation. We become so fearful and insecure about something to the point of finding the smallest percentage to support our fears, despite seeing (and being able to accept) the majority that actually dispels them.
Stretch marks are not something to be ashamed of, so why get rid of them? That's just caving in to your fears and a bias-confirmed insecurity of yourself, despite what the majority of people are saying how you are beautiful, the way you are. When you sell yourself down the river like that, you sell a part of your own strength as well. A strength that not only makes a better and more beautiful person, but a strength that also includes you in the love of what other people already see within you.
You don't have to change to be beautiful. You just have to learn to love yourself, because so many people already do. 😉 THAT'S strength. THAT'S beauty! 🙂 It's well within her grasp. She just needs to love herself the way she is. With those beautiful stretch marks and all. Because she is worth loving the way she is. 💙
She's beautiful as she is. She just doesn't know it yet. 😉
@BlueWalker Haha. Bro that is a lot of lines. I'm sure you have something significant to say and I'm sure that @Moonlight234 must have appreciated whatever you had to say.

They don’t bother me. No one is perfect anyway. We all have our flaws or things we don’t like about ourselves. But chances are others won’t care nearly about the things we don’t like. As far as stretch marks are concerns if I find her attractive naked it doesn’t matter. I look at the total package not just the detail.
If a man is turned off by a couple of discolored lines on your ass, then he’s gotta he pretty feminine lol. I got stretch marks from when I was bodybuilding, and to me, it just tells me that I just gained so much muscle, that my skin couldn’t contain it lol. I also got scars on my body and a story for everyone of them. I really could care less.
The only male I can imagine is turned off by stretch marks is a teenager who has only ever watched porn.
Stretch marks are sexy.
If y’all wanna be mad at us for asking penis size questions we’ll guess what, this is the female equivalent. Except there are zero men who are looking around for that “perfect” girl with no stretch marks at all, but there’s plenty of
Size queens out there hunting for massive cocks.
Personally stretch mark can be a turn on! They come from many different reasons. But if yours are like any of pictures that good cause this area is more sensitive to the touch if a man caresses over them lightly it can stimulate you in some occasions! The cellulite is a definite turn off!
Cellulite is something else
Cool
Would you look better without them? Maybe.
Would someone leave you just because of something like that? Yes, but only if that person is not interested in your self in the first place. Nothing lost, only gained.
Does it make any difference in a serious relationship? Definitely not.
In a serious relationship, personality is more important than anything else.
If they are on a body like these girls I won't mind at all lol it's only unattractive when they are on a fat body
I purposely chose girls with a similar body type to me to get honest feedback but I don't know I still feel they’re unattractive lol
They really aren't, I have some acne which is far worse, be thankful this us the only thing you're worried about lol
Kendrick said it best, they are natural. You can't control it. Shit sometimes its sexy cause it's natural.
I'd have to turn gay if I found them a turn off, and even then, I'd still get nothing.
Everyone has stretch marks somewhere, it's normal. It would only be a turn off if there's an abnormal amount of them.
Exactly
What’s weird is that while I do think airbrushed-to-death models are pretty hot, in real life I think “imperfections” are a turn-on just because it deviates from what the media tells you is the “norm.”
Is that what those are? I never knew what people meant when they said that. Honestly, I think it looks cool. It's like a natural tattoo. People decorate their cars with that type of shit.
Im so happ that i dont care about it! Tnx to the lord!
The reason you don't see them on models, even on the runway, is because you can use body makeup to hide it. Heck, if you're skilled, you can even use body makeup to create the illusion of abs.
Nope. My wife has them from having our two daughters. It's just reality that a lot of women have them.
I see this question every once in a while and I always say the same thing.
Girls, (most) men don't care about stretch marks. At all. It's other women that tear each other down over them.
I don’t have any and I didn’t even know those existed until I saw the pictures in this post
They don’t look bad to me lol it wouldn’t be a turn off
In my opinion guys don't care if realy like the girl
They are occur on their own so they aren't turn off for me
You forgot to include the answer of, 'No, I love them!' 8><3
If someone turns someone else down bc of stretch marks then maybe being turned down is blessing in disguise😂🤷🏾
It just reality. Unfortunately so many guys are porn addicts that they cannot differentiate fantasy from reality when it comes to women.
It is fine, if you have body like in those pics and, if personality, intelligence and face is not behind...
Kind of... if there’s just too much I’ll feel like I’m fucking a half woman half tiger
So the ones in the photos would be too much?
The first and second ones
Dude fucking a half woman half tiger is a fucking fantasy!
Yeah, on second thought that’s true lol my kids would be primal & beastly af
Lol I bet
How does that one girl have stretch marks? She has no ass. Yeesh
which one lol?
Nooo they are so much better than having cellulite it sucks
Follow me please
I have then I tried every stretch mark cream possible to get rid of them but they’re here to stay...
Not a turnoff at all.
I don't mind them at all, I'm 6'7(200cm), so I have tons of em myself 😊
Turn off is harsh. I'd rather have no stretch marks.
Stretch marks are the kind of thing that a lot of women care about but most men don't.
Stretch marks are awesome. 👍
Signed,
A man.
I wouldn't turn a girl down with stretch marks.
I actually think they're attractive in some cases.
No, they are no problem at all.
I think most guys really do not care
Of course not!
I dont know what im looking for
Cellulite is a turn off.
I don’t think they matter enough to be a turn off.
They are fine it shows a guy grew I don't care
Not a deal breaker for me
Yes they are a turn off
Well thank you for being honest 🤷♀️
People keep bashing me for saying I wanna get rid of mine and say it’s “normal” and not a big deal but I don’t like them
Seriously no human contact
So they’re a turn off?
I actually think they are attractive in most cases
God stretch marks are sexy
It works for me.
