Jessica alba will be favoured more as her features are more caucasian looking, which we are trained to deem more desirable, "face as white as snow" media perpetrating white women in more favourable roles ahilst darker or black women in less favourable ways. we dont hear much about her and she has a girl next door look. Whereas for years people thought beyonce was mixed or of a caucasian descent. But she is black although her features not typical (apparently) to black as she's gotten older she has embraced a more black look, styling and is pro black. These things piss a lot of people off and they label her extra, classless and up her self. Questions like this will deem a higher number of votes for alba. Problem is people dont recognize black figures have to make (gimmicks) to their character appearance to be noticed to be, talked about, to renain in the limelight, they just have to worl tuat much harder simply because they aren't the first choice, but the very things most dislike them for are the things that keep them on your lips, usually outweighing the actual talent they have, in beyonces case singing, wgereas jessica albas acting isn't really all that great, i mean its not at oscar award winning level right now. Whereas Beyoncé is the most-awarded artist. with a total of 23 awards and 63 nominations from the Grammy Awards for her music (as a solo artist and with Destiny's Child), she is the most nominated woman and the second-most awarded woman in Grammy history. So although this was initially about looks are judgments are stemming from an inherent level of dislike towards most things black.

Mathew is African American, while Tina is of Louisiana Creole descent (African, Native American, and French) The term creole was originally used by French settlers to distinguish persons born in Louisiana from those born in the mother country or elsewhere. As in many other colonial societies around the world, creole was a term used to mean those who were "native-born", especially native-born Europeans such as the French and Spanish. It also came to be applied to African-descended slaves and Native Americans who were born in Louisiana. What many people do is try and justify her appearance by finding some white in any person not appearing dark skinned. But you will find that she has descendants that are the "creole" but the umbrella of black comes from the fact that for many years we were unable pick any other definitive ethnic group when filling out forms once you were a person of colour you were black. As the years when on they branched out and were termed African American, this allowed people to acknowledge their African roots and their possible creole roots also. So she is infact black. She in definitely African American. Put her next to a french or Spanish woman and they will see her as black. This makes people other than black, she may not have publicly have said she is black but she if African American, she embraces her roots and culture that is black and creole. She is categorised as black under every sub heading within the music/media etc unbrella. By investigsting to find out whether she is black or if she has some other race within her gene pool shows me that the people that do so are uncomfortable with her as a beautiful woman, a successful woman and a black successful woman. Why because of the inhernet racism that lives within society. It seems offering compliments effortlessly is only welcomed when there's a palatable race to relate to!!! Get over it! She's black!

As the years went on they fought to be redefined/categorized and were termed African American, this allowed people to acknowledge their African roots and their possible creole roots also. This seems to upset and confuse people other than black, she may not have publicly have said she is black but ehy should she she knows who she is and so do we, she is African American, she embraces her roots and culture that is black and creole. Asker+1 yJessica Alba is not fully white as well.
Alba was born in Pomona, California, to Catherine Louisa (née Jensen) and Mark David Alba. Her mother has Danish, Welsh, German, English, and French ancestry, while her paternal grandparents, who were born in California, were both the children of Mexican immigrants. She has a younger brother, Joshua.- +1 y
I am fully aware of jessica Alba's heritage. But again how often do you hear her playimg roles of mexican heritage characters. How often do you hear her posting things on social media about her culture. How often do you see her discussing matters regarding mexican culture. I dont know anyone that has ever asked me whether i knew where jessica alba was from in fact when she was in honey most people assumed she was mixed race (white and black) so what is that all about? Most people know she's not "black" but given her straight hair and olive skin she doesn't fit into any category. I know thst she has worn a variety of styles. But never has she received the amount of ridicule beyonce has. As a black female we are automatically judged for things other cultures don't understand. Why because jessica alba has assimilated into the "acceptable american" culture. She keeps most of her private life, private much like beyonce does and only invites us to what she wants much like beyonce but still who faces ridicule. Why? Im aware most people that read my comments judge me as racist. But the bottom line is this, i couldnt care less what other people are doing and I dont judge people based upon their cultures but the very things we as black people are judged for are the things they have constantly tried to beat out of us. And deemed us all manner of things under the sun for instead kf accepting us.

Beyonce is at thr top of her game and still the level of disrespect she receieves is atrocious. The beauty of her is that she doesn't spend her time degrading herself and doesn't answer back to these fools. She removes association example. Prior to beyonce appesring on simon Cowell's show xfactor he slated beyonce's singing ability and talent. But after she helped alexander burke and sang with such grace and live he had to make a public apology and since she hasn't worked with him... just like to add it was apparently the most watched episode in all of xfactors time. Ha! Beauty is supposed to be based upon personal preferences, but its structural, hierarchical and based upon how you wish to be judged and success etc...
Asker+1 yI think a lot of people are aware Jessica Alba is partly Mexican though.
