Why Are Beautiful/Handsome People Rare?

Beautiful people aren't rare because everyone is beautiful. Your skin, your eyes, your mouth, your head, your shoulders, your knees, your toes are what make everyone in this world rare. Sometimes what we see as beautiful someone regards it as ugly and what is ugly to someone is pretty to another person. There is no such thing as rare beauty because we are all beautiful in the sight of God and we are wonderfully made and different in beauty.
Great answer
They are rare because we have specific beauty standards for different body parts and only a minority of people have all or almost all of those features, whether it's real or fake.
We all have more or less of attractive features. But very few people have all or almost all of those features.
I've also noticed beautiful and handsome people are more common in some countries than others. I think Afghans in general speaking are gorgeous, but most people in most parts of the world are average. I've also noticed there are more women out there I finds beautiful than there are men I finds handsome.
Yeah a lot of our beauty standards are eurocentric or more towards the middle eastern, Mediterranean features. This is because people from these regions were on top of hierarchy before.
Maybe being rare is part of what makes them beautiful. One reason I adore redheads is because they’re so uncommon.
Because what's rare has more value than what's common.

Beautiful people aren't rare, i see many of them every day
If you are talking about someone being close to perfect then yes thats rare
I rarely sees them, but beautiful women are way more common than handsome men. There's many abroad though.
Then it must be different than Norway though? In Norway there's relatively many cute girls, but I rarely sees any good looking guys. When I first sees someone, they're usually immigrants. I'm wondering why women are more attractive than men on average.
Because models you see in magazines are fake. Real people don't look like that.
That's not always true. I've seen some people who looks like models in real life, but it's mostly females and foreigners. I would honestly say handsome men are way rarer than beautiful women.
Because you have extremely high standards for a brown person
Get off your high horse
I'm talking of general speaking, not a particular geographical area. Here's other models:

I picked this picture as a "clickbait" to make more people enter the question.
And I'm saying your standards are extremely high, whereas you aren't that good-looking
I also don't consider her attractive.
Too many wrinkles for her age. Even my mom at her 40s has less wrinkles. Also egg-shaped head
@DWD94 I'm being honest
That lady has too many wrinkles
@Pulimuli, Emilia Clarke looks different in real life because of her body language and the way she moves her face. In Game Of Thrones she's more of a conventionally beauty, while in real life she also has the comedian charm and her not being so serious. Everyone gets wrinkles when making facial expressions.
I think Eva Green is very pretty. Especially in movies and TV-series when she has black hair and a tan. In real life she has another hair color.
Here, she's not moving much other than a subtle smile and her wrinkles are still visible. And no, a few 30 y. olds have such deep wrinkles. Even real-life people.
Have you even seen any of these actresses/models in real life? I bet you wouldn't be impressed. Life isn't a videogame
That picture was new to me. I've only seen her on TV before.
Yes, well lightning and makeup...
They perhaps are a rare but powerful combo of being beautiful both inside and out.
Beauty is a croc of shit, looks ain't shit just saying there's other things too ya know
