Are braids cute, hot, or childish?

When a girl braids her hair on both sides with two braids, is that a good look or would you say its too childish? (she's 18 btw)

I couldn't help noticing that her braids are asymmetric.
Aside from that, there are many types of braids, and if you can support the look, then why not? Braids are often imbedded in wedding hairstyles or some more formal hairstyles. They have a certain elegance.
I think the most important thing is to consider how they look on the individual's face, I mean, some women look better with a single side braid, others look better with two. 🤷‍♀️

I don't think I would call it childish, but it's not one of the better looks in my personal opinion. I don't find it "hot." But it is fine. I've heard that it's not good for your hair/scalp though? Like if you pull too tight? I'm not sure on that one.

For what it's worth, I don't actually think it's bad to have a hairstyle some people would call "childish." I'm all for pigtails and the like.

It totally depends on other features on the body. Eyes, smile, hair color, clothing, etc. For me, usually it's quite attractive, I more like the look of pony tails rather than braids but it's still attractive nonetheless. There's more or less a style around it rather than just a quick braid so it usually compliments other features.

Depends on the girl but for the most part they can look cute. I don't like tight braids though because that looks painful. Loose braids on the side are cute.

Braids can look good on adults. Honestly it takes a bit of skill to do more complicated braids that they should be more common on adults rather than children. As for the girl in the picture, she’s got French braids which are more sophisticated than just tying three simple strands together so it looks perfectly fine on her.
