Is braided hair sexy?

I watched a vid of a stripper saying she makes more money when she wears her hair in braids. Really got me thinking are guys actually into braids?

Not really, I usually braid my hair when absolutely nothing I can do whatsoever, can get it to look, or sit right! But as for the strippers comment, I think in that context, its more than likely a pervy, creepy infantilism thing. Like she may be 25, but she puts on a Catholic school uniform, braids her hair, and because she LOOKS like old guys think teenagers should look, so she gets more tips. In porn, the “teen” category just look at the amt of braids, and pigtails is ridiculous… literally!

My friend has been “dancing” at a club a few miles out of town, really ever since she started college. When she started there she still had braces, and she made a fortune in tips, way more than most of the other girls there. But a few months later, she had them removed, and she DOES look a lot older now, but her tips plummeted, and she said all her regulars looked disappointed when she showed them that they were off! she went to her orthodontist and asked him to put them back on, obvs he said no. She explained the reason, and he compromised, and made the a clear retainer and bonded her old braces onto it (she kept them). So now when she goes to work she pops her “braces” on and voila… Instant 10th grader! Her tips shot right back up, like immediately. It’s really gross if you even think about it for more than a second or two! But if it helps her make mo bank… Who are we to judge? Or, for that matter, question the creepiness of SOME middle aged guys?

I think when you really consider it, it is because it makes them look like young school girls and that is a big turn on for the dirty old men with pedo fantasies that frequent the strip clubs, no matter what anyone says.

Oh my goodness yes! Braids are another weakness of mine. I like them all, from the quick three strands you can do in under a minute through the elaborate wearable art that takes hours to put together. Braids are one of the fashion items that looks great on all races body types skin tones etc. Until I got to see it in progress I had no idea how long it took and the skill level involved in some black women’s braids; props and respect to those who do it professionally but even more to those who spend an afternoon volunteering to do it for your friends! They don’t even have to be really complex or overdone, it’s just a really good look for almost every woman. There are different styles that look good at different age ranges, even mid life or older.

I think the stripper making more money in braids is more because of the association of braids with underage women than with braids being sexy. I've read about that phenomenon as well. That being said, braids can be sexy without that skeezy context as well- it's all about context.

It’s supper funny to me because a lot of guys are also attracted to hair down and messy right… but braided or up and just nicely organized with some fancy grouping nags or something is all so weirdly sexy. Is "sexy" for a "reason"... Strip clubs ask them to dress less and braid their hair to similarise "co-eds"... the younger the girls (looking) the older the men, and that should mean simething, like they are infatuated/fantasizing about the Adolescent girls/Teens... so now you know the reason... if yiu don't belive me, search for yourself... To answer ur question i find it cute/normal/just a way of not having the wind to blow your hair everywhere...

Braids can look attractive and very classy, especially fancy braids like the ones in the photo.

Braids don't make me think of sex, so I wouldn't call them sexy. But attractiveness, good grooming, and good fashion sense are part of sexiness. So, braids could be sexy in that sense, as part of the whole package.

It actually really depends. Sometimes it's super hot, or just cute or looks awful all depends on the girl and how she has it.
Unlike long hair which is just hot all the time I would say.
I can for sure see myself paying the stripper with braids over one without. But I don't know again it depends on how they do it.
I think if you style yourself in a way you will make more money no doubt compared to maybe another style that didn't work on yourself.

Yes but if ima be honest more so the ones I’m familiar with that black woman wear. The box braids or cornrows, but probably cause that’s just my preference I rarely see white girls with braided hair of any form tbh. But the style in the pic isn’t bad by any means, I’d say it’s more cute then sexy though.

It can be sexy but it usually just looks good. It would be like asking if a ponytail is sexy. Sometimes it just looks good on someone who is already sexy but it probably won’t make someone unattractive look sexy.

Sure but it depends on the girl and the exact type. I personally usually prefer simple hairstyles. I saw a cute girl on the train and I was just admiring her hair, which was just gathered in a simple ponytail. I think ponytails give the biggest bang for your buck in terms of cuteness and ease.

I think it's cute and nice but I prefer to see women with long straight hair. One I prefer rth look and well tbh if I was with someone I think it would be nice to be able to run fingers through her hair. I don't know if that's odd or not but well it seems to be a nice thing people do in books. And they always paint a nice picture.
