haven't before no, last few winters I usually wear thick tights under my trousers or pants as they are called in america lol

Thongs help prevent panty lines. I'm a guy, and even i know that. I highly suggest thongs, if you don't want panty lines

Wearing them in the mornings was a real mess. I once got out of the house without putting the skirt on - I realised after a couple hundred yards that I was missing something :)

Yes it was winter. It was both dark outside and the tights were not see through so I was lucky :)

The ribbed wool tights were thick enough that I hardly felt any cold though :)
