It's quite short. A woman standing 157 cm is in the 15th percentile. If I remember correctly, 157 cm is just under 5'2". A 5'2" woman is taller than 16% of women. So being a little under that will place you in the 14th or 15th percentile. So if you're 157 cm, you're taller than about 15% of women and there's a good 85% taller than you.

I tend to think fairly short. That's like in the bottom 20% in the US. I mean it's not extraordinarily short but it's shorter than 80% of women there.
