Long, unkempt facial hair on a man is a big turn off. I can’t stand mustaches growing down over their top lip or scraggly beards. It’s so dirty looking. If I like the guy, I will tactfully discuss it with him. “I would never ask anyone to change for me, but I can’t get passed the ______. I like you. How attached are you to your facial hair?” Some men have been single too long and get lax in their grooming and would gladly shave for me. Others would never. I don’t mind a 3 day scruff but it scratches my face raw too much when kissing. I give him the option to choose me or his facial hair but with a smile. I don’t care for long hair on a man, either, but that’s not so much a problem at this age- they’re bald and that’s fine.

The only hair style I can really think of is a mullet. I’m fine with guys having long hair considering growing up my dad had long hair for a time but mullets just look odd to me.

Some certain facial hair styles aren’t attractive to me either. Like these:

I can’t find a good picture of the other one I was thinking of but it’s when guys have their beard long but shave it in the middle so it’s a weird curtain on the sides of their face. I worked with a guy who had his beard like that, it was odd to look at.

Not a huge fan of short hairstyles on women. I guess that’s not hard and fast, I’ve seen some women pull it off, Halle Berry, Nia Long... but I still think they look better with long hair.

I don’t mind it if it’s kind of a wild short style, like my girlfriend’s sister has it shaved close on the sides and back, and she has curls on top, so it’s kind of cool looking. She’s also into tattoos and piercings and all that too though, so it sort of goes with her overall look.

What I don’t like is the “I don’t feel like dealing with this so I’m throwing looking good out the window and chopping it off” ‘do. I see it more on aging women, probably well past their years of giving a shit, haha.

Dreads for me as well. It gives the impression of a stoner/hippie type. On white girls that is, on black girls it's sometimes their natural style in which cases it far more suits them. I'm not one to focus on the ethnicity of the bearer of a hairstyle but in the case of dreads it does matter somewhat.

I also dislike the one-side shaved style. It reeks of wannabe rebellious attitudes and isn't feminine.

I don't like dreads, either. Most of the ones I've seen look dirty with a bunch of dandruff flakes in them.

I'm not a fan of the current shaved sides trend and never liked man buns (and shaved sides man buns are the worst!). I just don't think the shaved sides haircuts really flatter very many people and man buns just look silly in my opinion. Also, when it comes to shaved sides, the longer the hair on top is and/or the closer to skin bald the sides and back are, the worse it looks in my opinion.

Anything that is dirty/greasy, stinks, or looks disgusting is a no-go as well.

Otherwise, if it's clean and maintained, it just depends on what flatters them most. I do seem to prefer more of a medium length over very short or very long, though.

I also dislike people with dreads, after in general I don't really dislike a hairstyle I'm not a fan of guys with long hair but some look good with it so I won't really I hate this hairstyle, it mostly depend on the person; I can dislike a haircut on one but like it on another if it suit their face.

Sure. People don't drive out of convenience. It's different for each country in the US you learn at 16 and you take drivers ed so you must learn to drive. In the UK you can learn to drive once you're 18 but no one encourages it. If you live in New York or London there is really no point driving you're better off taking the subway/tube. In a lot of countryside areas or villages you don't need a car either because it's quiet pretty much empty and it's much more easier to ride your bike or walk instead.

Same here, dreadlocks or cornrows of any kind, shape, or variety are revolting to me. Instant and permanent turn-off.

Afros are okay, I don't mind afros, but any other kind of "black people" hair is just fucking disgusting to me. Regardless of race. White, black, Asian, it doesn't matter, you look like human garbage with this shit and I can never be attracted to someone who has EVER worn their hair that way, even for just five minutes. If I marry a girl and have kids with her and then find some old photograph of her with cornrows back when she was 14, it's over. It's fucking over, I'd put my shit in a box and leave. I don't have a picture, but I'm not a fan of guys with dreads. Mostly because they often don't keep up with them as closely as they should, and the dreads look really bad with grown-out roots and edges showing.
