I have had robes since middle school and would get one like every Christmas. Right now I only have this one incredibly fuzzy and soft robe. Maybe they are intended to be worn every morning or something. But I have always used/viewed robes kinda like how Onesies are Onesies are so comfy and awesome but you don't tend to wear them every day because they are kinda impractical compared to normal pajamas. It the same thing with robes. I will throw mine on for two reasons one for those days when I take a shower in the morning but have anything really going on and don't feel like dressing so I throw on a robe which will keep me warm/comfy and covered and I will wear it for a few hours until I eat and relax a while. The other reason is when I am getting ready for something but it's going to take a while so put a robe on after the shower and then wear it while getting ready and put my clothes on last.

I have a lightweight cotton flannel robe and a fuzzy fleece one. Depends on the season. Im usually less than fully dressed when home alone, so its much more presentable when a courier shows up to have a robe by the front door.
I've had a robe ( I mean we are talking dressing gowns aren't we? lol) for a while an unwanted Christmas present from a relative that clearly was a visionary! As whilst it spent the first few years still unpackaged in a cupboard in my apartment, lockdown has given it a new lease of life! The last few month's I've logged on for a days work at home where it's pretty much been a replacement for my suit (I've not had the balls to wear it during a zoom call yet though! lol). @KingdomForAKiss That's what a dressing gown is! (see picture above lol).
Can't find a robe that will fit me

I have this one. I ordered it because I didn't wear a bra during a lot of quarantine and in case someone came to the door. It's super silky and doesn't get me overheated like a fluffy one might.
No... I am not into robes... I think the last time that I wore one, I was at a hotel in Las Vegas and I was walking with my girlfriend (at the time) down to the pool with the robe supplied in the hotel room.
I used to... Now I'm not sure where it is... 🤔 but it's great for trips back and forth to the bathroom where you are nude and for the cold winter months
Nope. I was gifted one, it was nice and warm... but then I believe I left it at an Airbnb while on a snowboarding trip with friends. I prefer to throw over a hoodie or get into a onesie when I'm cold in the winter.
I have one for bathroom use after a shower or bath. Another for covering myself up to walk through the garden to the hot tub, usually naked underneath. (Tmi I know but...)
I live with my parents, no way can I own a robe now even if I want to. I am very very tempted by buy those pretty silk robes that just look so amazing 😭😭😭
I own a robe I wear it all winter and every time is it cold inside my house (I don't use heater too much since it's expensive and bad for the environment and for my skin so I prefer wearing my robe instead of putting the heater).
Isabel I have one but it's in a box with some other stuff I never wear in a closet. I walk nonchalantly naked from the bathroom to my bedroom after a shower.
🛀Sometimes. Usually when I just want to lay around after taking a shower and not get dressed yet, but I'm cold do I wear a robe.
Yes. I have a big ass robe that's like 3 sizes too big. I call it my Wizard Robe. I wear it around the house most of the day during the colder months.
We have several pairs in our master bedroom & master bathroom.
I always have clean pairs ready for our guests in each of our guest rooms.
There are also robes in the swimming pool changing room out in the backyard.Yes I have a robe. Actually used it just last week. I spent a few days in the hospital. They really frown on a person walking around with their bits showing.
Love the idea personally. I've photographs in bath robes and towels. Don't keep them around anymore tho.
Yup. Bath robes, flannel robes, a really nice Armani midnight blue silk robe when I am home.
Yeah, I have a leopard print one. But like you said, I hardly ever use it
Same with me nice nice robes but there to hot for me
I have my regular bathrobe, my fancy bathrobe, and my formal bathrobe.
I used to have one, when I were like 10, but haven't really owned one since.
I guess now that you mention it, robes feel pretty unnecessary.
I wish I did, along with matching slippers and a pipe.
