Girls like that are not showing off they are either exercising or training. I have always liked athletes. Cookie must be an athlete. Lol
See athletes. Is someone trying to say otherwise? message to girls: Don't let anyone try to put you down, or make you feel bad for wearing anything like this. More likely they are jealous of your build and possibly will try to screw with your mind saying you should not be wearing these things. Athletes wear these because they need to move and be comfortable when they train and compete. Nothing wrong with you wearing these as well. In fact it is smart. You will not risk health problems from dehydration, over heating and less muscle strain.
Chris' word of wisdom for today. 😎
little' Miss PeaceSign is hamming it up, but the runner is probably just dressed for comfort.
That said, Actually, the stretch/yoga/bike shorts on little' Miss PeaceSign are very comfortable to wear.
Thanks for the MHO
You're welcome.

If it's scorching hot out, she's got her runners and has her earphones and is running - doing some sort of workout or is sporting the outfit at the gym or fitness club... she's most likely wearing it for workout purposes of not burning up in layers.
If she's dressed like that to a place where she's not doing any fitness related activity - like a theme park, to the mall, her hair dresser... she may be showing off - typically highschool girls.
If she's dressed like that while carrying a miniature dog, grocery shopping and getting gummy vitamins... she's more than showing off.
Context matters.
Wearing a bikini at a beach is normal. Wearing shorts over your bikini on the way there might even be normal. Hanging out at a party in a bikini top and short shorts is showing off.
Showing off involves pushing the limits of what's acceptable IN THAT CONTEXT.
If you're working out sweating your ass off in that outfit which you're wearing to stay cool and avoid chafing, people may think you look good, but only haters would whine you're showing off.
If you take every possible opportunity to wear that outfit, they might have more of a point.
In the context you've shown no. I think its activewear. Its like wearing a swimming suit; at the pool or on the beach in one is appropriate. Walking around casually in public with no intent of swimming; inappropriate and just showing off. I would say the same for these outfits.
Its like what I wear running or biking. I'm not showing off, I'm actually participating in something, and probably working up a sweat. Loose clothes chafe, and fabrics get soggy. Less is more.
Its more appropriate than the lame poser in a bike skinsuit riding to the coffeeshop.
Yes and no.
If they're working out and it's hot out, they're just trying not to overheat. But there's definitely still a bit of showing off happening - probably not about showing off for others, but rather that style of dress makes them feel good about their fit bodies.
If they're not working out or it isn't that hot out, it's mostly for showing off. From there, it's up to the personality of the woman whether she's showing off for herself or for others.
There really should be an option to go anonymous on this. However, I do say it is showing off. There really is no other reason to dress like that. Some women might say "because it is comfortable", but there are plenty of clothes more comfortable than those that show less. Nothing wrong with showing off after working that hard to get into great shape, but it is still showing off.
unless your gay why wouldn't you want to see a woman's legs... or her stomache or dressed in a revealing way... remember it's fine to look but never ever touch... i wear a lot of minidresses in the summer and don't mind when men look at my legs not in the least i love to look and feel sexy and i hope i don't gross anyone out... but wearing dresses and short shorts are all part of being a girl/woman and you must be gay if your bothered is all i can say/write.
Why would I "want" to see anyones legs? That doesn't sound classy that you like guys to get their cheap thrills looking at you.
"Wearing dresses and short shorts are all part of being a girl/woman." Really? Seriously? Lol
i don't know go ask all the girls who wear short skirts dress shorts etc... none of them are fat pigs and my guess by your screen name is your a fat pig
:D You're funny.
They do it because they want to flaunt their bodies they are working hard for. It's validation they get from knowing people are looking at them and perceive them as attractive. Anyone who says otherwise is clearly in denial. But to each their own. If they want to run around like that, that's their freedom. I've seen far worse compared to that.
they are dressed like that cos they feel comfortable in wearing that type of clothing
some women though do dress to get more attention, but many dress the way they do cos they like to and it helps increase their self image and how they feel about themselves
Yes and no. That is basically normal sports wear however girls that use sports wear like that know they have bodies to show it off. It could be comfort but if I were a girl, that would be an outfit that says look at my flat stomach
No it looks like comfortable active wear. The colors are dull enough. I get the idea that she's not looking for attention and this is just a practical outfit
I like it. Women can wear what they want.
But documenting your every fart on instagram is a different story. You can't deny that is narcissism and attention seeking.
Some are. Some aren't. It's really hot outside during this time of the year so they probably just dont wnat to pass out. If I looked like that I'd show off tho.
It truly depends. If they're casually exercising, I don't think so, but if they're wearing it on the internet, I'll think they're showing off, fishing for compliments
No it’s just workout clothes, I was required to wear spandex shorts and a sports bra for volleyball practice and plus when your hot and sweaty you don’t want much clothing on your body.
In a way: yes.
But I don't see it as an intrusive or 'wrong' show off: these girls are healthy and fit - and they are happy and proud about it.
We could call this: 'positive body positivity' :)
When I dress like that its for comfort and to stay cool in the summer heat. The idea of Showing off doesn't even enter my brain
Depends. Athletic wear serves a practical purpose but when they're just taking selfies or hanging around trying to get noticed, they're just begging for attention. See it all the time whenever I'm at the gym or a popular running route.
I say no. That is practical clothing for certain weather and activities.
