What eye makeup should I do for my eye shape?

Two questions: what exactly is my eye shape? I think they’re at least partially hooded because when my eyes are fully open you can hardly see my lid but I’m not completely sure.
Secondly, what type of eye makeup should I do? I’ve always hated my eyes because any makeup I do disappears into my crease and ends up looking terrible. Majority of makeup tutorials just don’t work on my eyes and it’s frustrating and difficult.
If you have any ideas or suggestions, I’d love to hear them :)

Try eye makeup for hooded eyes
There are some very simple steps:
-first off all, always eye primer to minimize transfer, because the hooded part of the eye might overlap with your eyeliner and cause transfer, resulting in a duplicate black line on your brow bone.
-Also use a light eyeshadow or some shimmer or highlighter to your inner corner (I use NYX innocent) to make your eyes appear wider
-use a Nude eyeliner to your waterline to make your eyes appear bigger
-use a darker eyeshadow in the top outer corner, being careful to blend up and out, avoiding the eye’s outer V
-tightline your upper lid preferably by using a black eyeshadow. The liner/eyeshadow should should be applied very thinly, as close to your lashline as possible and not have too long of a wing. This is the most important step cause lining a hooded eye too thickly will overrun the eyeshadow and give eyes the appearance of looking smaller. You could also do a cut crease (there are lots of tutorials for that on YouTube)
