I would tbh
And I don’t have a negative experience, I just don’t like it personally
Ok then thats you and you pass on guys with flip flops, no big deal.If you were dating a guy for a year and saw him in flip flops, what would you do?
I don't know tbh but I don’t think that would happen
Plus, the personality type that I have (that matches the guys I date), small things like that usually come up before it gets to that point
So you ask if they wear flip flops? And if they do, then you won't date them? If I understood that correctly.
Kinda but not exactly, it’s something that happens to get mentioned in conversations but not awkwardly. When I get close enough with someone that is like me, it gets causally mentioned in a way that occurs appropriately. But its usually just a conversation that involves that, like it would be a conversation about flip flops than I would probably say I don’t like flip flops and see what they say and if they say they would ever wear them. A couple times guys have told me on their own that they would never wear them. That’s the best I can explain it, it’s a bit complicated to explain lol
The way it would come up would depend on the person and how the conversation goes. Sometimes it would be asked about and sometimes it would occur in the conversation differently
I guess so. Sorry, we can't date. 😄
Seems like a big point that has to be checked of for you to date. Which is ok, its your life. Just might be missing out on guys that wear flip flops. I dont like slide flip flops but wear the 'thong' style flip flops. Its It any flip flops in general or a specific style, just woundering because I had thought about this as a major factor when looking for a female date.
Yeah pretty much. I’m not familiar with that but if that’s what you like to wear go for it. It’s good for us all to wear whatever we want. It’s all flip flops in general tbh
Does it matter if you see him walking barefoot any where, like your/his place, at the beach/pool, etc?
A Fantasy Restaunt? Where do I find this, in my closet? lol

Also seeing how many people hate flip flops and get angry at others for wearing them, I'm gonna keep wearing them even more now!
I don't know about others but I don’t get angry, I just don’t like them personally but that’s just me😂
Yeah I got your point. I just noticed a lot of people in thr comments saying flip flops needs to be burnt and they look lazy or whatever. All I see is that they're comfy.
Yeah no idea why they would feel that way lol
I feel like most people care way too much about clothes. Like I only have one criteria when it comes to clothes and that is comfort. Beyond I generally don't care. But from what I see among my friends, they almost always sacrifice comfort for something that looks fashionable. Good for them if it makes them happy but I hate it when they try to impose the same on me.
Sandals. Really. Must be a area thing. They are very normal where I am in the summer. Sandals are also popular but tend to be worn by older people. Flops are comfy and very convenient. I was brought up to not wear shoes in the house so that makes it easy.
I'm from the Netherlands and I heard that flip-flops in the US are way more common. Here they're generally seen as bad taste.Sandals are a little bit more for girls I guess. Men wear loafers more, but they're also popular for girls I guess. Or just sneakers or nice shoes, but tbh for men I don't like sneakers that much anymore after your teenage years. Our style is a little bit less casual than in the US.
Imma assume you’re a troll because I literally said that I’m n it bothered by it, it’s just MY personal opinion lol
And I wasn't referring to you specifically. So drop it.
It seemed like you were
That’s the only place I wear them is in a public shower. In boot camp the Marine Corps issued us flip flops for that very purpose. The drill instructors called them Jesus slippers lol.
I agree. It looks cute on girls, weird on guys. I hate when guys wear them. I don't wanna see their feet. I only wear them on rare occasions. I don't like showing my feet, plus they are so uncomfortable. My mom thinks it's so strange Americans wear them outside the beach.
Mostly because me and my boyfriend wear flip-flops inside the house. We call them "slippers" as we grew up on a Filipino culture where we must wear it at all times.
