Yes. Some people are nicer towards those they deem attractive.
No, not a "privilege" as proposed by the SJW trash.
An advantage sure, but it's not that big of one.
Disagree. The leadership at my corporate job is full of vapid pretty people.
@Feelicks Don't they mostly care for cash & social status?
Well yeah, you get that by being hot and going to their stupid parties.
Well it seems like all you would have to do is go to the stupid parties & then they would love you.
That and suck a million dicks LoL
Mhmm..
Can I join in? xD
LoL down boy 😜
It can help for a while but when you get older you’re looks fade away so it’s only a privilege for a small amount
Ofc it is. Beauty is rare. BBW is a lie. Rare things, attributes are valued. Pretty girls have easy life...
Being pretty is a privilege and they should allow all ugly people to get free plastic surgery so that we can all be beautiful together
Its not nessesarily a privilege. Most take advantage of another's insecurity using looks to intimidate those inferior to sadly.
Yes an no, everything comes with downsides and upsides, but most people would rather be pretty than ugly.
Yeah. Trouble is, nobody agrees on what pretty is anymore
That’s because everyone has a preference and what they personally think they find attractive but their still are universal signs of beauty such as (in regarding females, I’m not familiar with male beauty standards since beauty standards are mostly pushed on women the most) but hourglass figures/ hip-to-waist ration and symmetry in facial features
You just used a lot of words to say the same thing
I was just explaining universal standards of beauty to add onto what you said?
Yes it is a thing. Its not even something people can control you will do it subconsciously and I don't see that privilege ever going away.
Inevitably so, though, don't think that earns anyone free meals.
Honestly when make up wasn't real, yea it was but today no not at all
I do I have used like being pulled over by cops for speeding , and at the bar I get free drinks.
For everything except love. Love is based on personality
Of course it is. Pretty women have the keys to the world, they just rarely appreciate it.
Or be humble about it
@michael1469 How many are though? More often I hear them talk about how difficult they have it.
I believe there is such thing as having advantages. All people have their own advantages known as strengths and also their own weaknesses
I think it shouldn’t be a thing but sometimes I can’t help but judge people by their appearances.
I know it is, because I've had my fair share of it.
Obviously. Men do stuff for women that they wouldn't do for men
Yes, it is. Attractive people have a lot of privilege.
Yeah the prettier you are the more friendly somebody is to you. Especially with these white people treating minorities who aren’t black better than black people
It's absolutely real. I've definitely taken advantage of my looks. Show a little more cleavage, flash the tits if needed, and I get almost anything i want.
Sure it is.
A pretty girl can make more money
By the way is that you?
You are very pretty.
I mean u can’t choose to be attractive it’s sorta like luck
Yes.
Who's that in the pic?
I wish I knew the girls @ but I just found it on Pinterest uncredited
When it comes to Certain Thing Yes Others No
Explain further? You can message if you want.
It’s basically the concept that people considered pretty get treated better as opposed to “unattractive” people
I believe more so for girls than guys
No because beauty is subjective
Exactly. No two people will agree on who is "beautiful", because it's all in the mind.
Nope, not a chance, it isn't a "thing".
I can't tell if your serious or not.
@KennethNoisewater "Pretty priviledge"? Was the asker of the question serious?
Yes I was being serious?
@yaaten so you are serious. So now I must question is you have ever left your house. Come on man. Of course the asked was serious. First off, she is fourteen. She asks these sorts of questions because she is genuinely interested in what the answer is. I don't think that is weird at all. But when I read yours I was hoping you were just attempting to pull someone's leg or something. By the sounds of it, especially since you said you were not joking, you don't get a lot of human interaction. I'm not saying that's the way it should be because I don't necessarily believe that. But it the harsh reality. It has been that was for a very long time and it won't be stopping anytime soon. those are just the facts.
Now I've heard everything. So I guess this will mean that those who are "priviledged" with prettiness, will have to make themselves look a little uglier for the sake of all the highly emotional, triggered ugly people.
@KennethNoisewater "Come on man!" - Ugh, don't say that. That expression now always reminds me of Joe Biden.
Okay, yes, she's 14. I didn't insult or criticise her, just disagreed with the majority opinion here on whether or not it's a "thing" (and I don't think it is). In spite of what you may say or think about the asker of the question, you have to admit there are a LOT of people here who ask questions they really do not want an answer to. That's why I asked if she was serious. I also asked the question because I had never even heard of this before.
Where is the evidence people who are considered to be "attractive" by the majority have intrinsic advantages in life? Unless you want to be something like a model, singer or film star, I don't think there are any.
Studies have been shown that companies who higher “objectively” more attractive people, are statistically likely to benefit with getting more sales and higher revenue because people are more likely to buy something from a person they find attractive than a person they don’t find attractive.
And of course I want answers to this question, I want to see other people’s opinions? It would be absolutely pointless for me to ask a question and not want an answer?
I'm sorry that "come on man" reminds you of Biden... I think. Anyway, this is where I need to learn to drop things. I need to walk away but I feel if I don't say anything, who will? I just don't think i would be doing my part in the world if I don't clarify a couple things. I'll make it quick.
First, it's definetly, no doubt, proven thing that people who have attractive bodies and faces don't encounter the same issues day to day. It's just something that happens. It's in our subconscious and we really can't control it. It's life. So when you say you don't agree with everyones "opinion", that just doesn't work. It's not everyone's opinion, it's a fact. It's strange you don't admit to knowing it's a real thing. Second this is my first time seeing this persons questions. I have still never addressed this question yet because your comment deserved my attention. So I don't really have an opinion of the asker. Just thought I should point that out to you.
Third, I would absolutely admit there is a lot of garbage questions on here. I would never say otherwise but you can usually spot those pretty fast and typically don't need the question asked if it was a real question because I feel the would lie about it regardless. But like I said you can spot those from a mile away. The fourth thing is when you play the "thats why I asked the question" card. Just in case you forgot how you actually responded to her question, your response was "Nope, not a chance, it isn't a "thing"". That's a terrible way to ask a question, just so you know. You asked me a question but I didn't ask the original question. And I am pretty sure you already knew that. We call this back peddling where I am from. And I will wrap it up with this, you don't need "evidence" of who is and is not attractive. You can look at someone and know right away if they are attractive. Not only attractive to you but you can tell if someone would be attractive to the majority of people. That doesn't necessarily mean you are attracted to them but they would fit the stereotype of what is attractive. You just got to be a grown-up about it.
The rest of your comment doesn't need to be addressed because I feel you can figure it out. I feel that it's strange I had to get this in-depth with someone who is 53 years in age. I feel you already know but you enjoy looking like you are "hip" to look at people skin deep. You want to seem "woke" in a sense. Maybe try less of that. Probably works better for everyone.
I’ve never heard such a term.
Yeah its a thing in every country.
I do from experience
It is a privilege just like any other.
Pretty girls get away with a LOT
Yes no one likes uglies
Its definitely a thing and you don't look 14
That’s not me in the picture?
Cool
yes it’s most definitely a thing
there's no such thing as privilege.
Well if you are pretty uou have much more choices
It exists.
Yup, I see it all the time
Yes, but only by some not all
Yes it is
indeed
Sometimes
Well, obviously?
I do and I use it.
Of course it is
You're a smart man ;)
Obviously
Yes i do girl
