So I have been scrolling through different questions on this site yesterday (old ones) and I noticed that many guys on here (and some girls) tend to say that girls like Madison Beer is not that attractive or is even overrated! And some guys said that Adriana Lima looks like a man... well i get it that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" but I still don't get why do guys rate beautiful girls like Megan fox or madison beer so low... Of course this doesn't happen with every guy some guys say they are hot but most guys on here seem to disagree... In real life for example guys are not like that but maybe i am wrong. Not trying to hate I just noticed that lol

It's the Hollywood perception of "white beauty" isn't shared by everyone. Especially when that standard is overused to death and these chicks aren't even that attractive in the first place. Like, I can say Megan Fox has a "nearly flawless" face (or she did, before the hideous plastic surgery). But she isn't beautiful to me; she just looks like a vapid model or Hollywood robot. It comes off so superficial and fake. And her personality has also been said to be extremely annoying and that she's very self-centered and generally a sh*tty person, which I can believe is true, but haven't met her in person to confirm.

And I remember the Madison Beer trend, back in like Spring. I wouldn't even know who she was if it wasn't for KD/A, essentially an American/Korean hybrid, digital, video game character K-Pop band from League of Legends. She also fits the same oversaturated "white Hollywood standard" of beauty. Though she's a singer and dancer, making her looks secondary.

But yeah, I can admit these chicks have "clean" symmetrical faces, but they're not "beautiful" to me. (Honestly, most chicks who look like that have been c*ck-whores and porn stars, in my opinion. Not attractive.)

So yeah, beauty is subjective.

Tbh i never really gave a f*ck about their lives and I don't know anything about them and their personalities even though in YouTube guys and girls say she is Cool and is really honest and sweet I don't know i really am confused rn

I don't like Madison Beer's face either, the lower half of her face has weird proportions.
The chin is too narrow and her jaw looks way too small, especially compared to her other features- such as ears which look way too big in comparison.

That's the problem with strong features- some people are going to like them precisely because they represent what that person likes, but people who don't like those features are going to dislike them even harder if they are strong.

Which means that, overall, having less pronounced features will appeal to most people. even if not "greatly appeal".

Yes i respect that i just hear all the time how gurls praise Madison Beer looks on YouTube and if someone says she isn't the most beautiful they are like "OMG are there girls prettier than Madison?"

What men and women find attractive is different.
Women can't help but project their own (typically heterosexual) preferences onto other women- which means a lot of very very masculine looking women (Ruby Rose) are considered hot by women.

But men don't want to see masculine features in women, men largely prefer softer, more feminine appearance, that's why they may even go as far as to say "ew.. but Ruby Rose looks like a dude".

I think that's the main reason behind the discrepancy.

To be fair, a lot of guys also use the "looks like a guy" line because they are suuper insecure with their sexuality and are afraid of somehow being labeled gay if they like a woman who doesn't look traditionally feminine lol.

This all depends as there's people I know are attractive but to me personally they aren't the type that attract me, I know they are pretty, so technically what I'm saying is they aren't my type, it doesn't mean they are ugly to me
