Girls, Cream or Powder Foundation?

I have always used a cream foundation, but I am considering switching to a powder. Is it easier to apply, does it usually work just as well, and does it last just as long. I am getting tired of the liquid consistency changing every now and then. Thanks.

Cream powder looks fresher and more dewy
Powder foundation tends to accentuate all flaws and skin's imperfections
