Am I old enough to wear heels?

Although I don't know what it would be perhaps on special occasion it is okay to wear heels because, other that couple of blisters, one evening is not going to harm you feet. In general, I see little reason for you to wear heels. Any, guy you might date, from your age to 16 or even 17, is not going to care what shoes you wear. You shouldn't be dating much anyway, especially where you were wear heels unless maybe a prom.

I agree with ur mom… I started at like 14 wearing heels but I was at boarding school an got away with it. My parents and grandparents were not allowing me until I was like 17… then they figured I’m not growing taller an agreed. But they are hard to get used too and some of my friends nvr get used to them. There’s plenty of time enjoy!🥰🎀

True, per the girls age vs. height chart at age 17 there is only a 1/4th additional height and even at 15 only a half inch more. However, those are averages and sometime it can be considerably. For example, Jersey Wolfenbarger was a 5'6" as a high school freshman and grew 11 inches to 6'5" by the time she graduated. Google if you don't know who that McDonald's All American is.

You're a bit too young to wear high heels or stilettos, but you could start by wearing platform sneakers or sandals with a small 1 or 2 inch wedge

Yes and no... As your mom said, they're good for special occasions. Even as an adult, it largely depends on a lot of things...

Stillettos are only for a reason.
Wedges and chunky heels are only if I'm not walking a lot.

I can wear certain heels all day, but they're all hard on your feet.

What I will advise is that for a week or so before you wear them to a formal type of event, that you do all of your chores wearing them... It will get you where you walk in them far more naturally than most girls your age. It is a learned skill.

They would, but that's the sort of thing you should probably wait another 3 or 4 years to wear. In life you must be mindful of what ideas what you wear convey, that dress conveys something you should wait a few years to convey...

What's funny about heels is that women will complain about them, and how they "hurt" yet, they'll still wear them anyway

Depends. Are you 6 and don't know how to walk or 13 and know how to run when you need to? If you know how to run when you need to, then you're old enough.

Lol Why the hell would you want to wear them? They seem really uncomfortable and hard as hell to walk in. So I don't see why anyone would wear them in general. I'd say you would be much better off wearing pair of quality work boots.

I'm not a woman, but medically speaking high heels are NOT good for your feet, legs or spine, especially after a lifetime! If you're 5'6" or taller, I would suggest you avoid heels!

Is young to wear lot time. Try with small heel first, is hard learn walk on old road or path. Also wear long can hurt more young feet

In my case, I wore heels from like 13 - 18 on a semi regular basis, but now I mostly wear flats.
