Follow Up: 💭 How Many Tattoos Are Considered Too Many? "I would definitely date someone with a tattoo despite not wanting any for myself.  Honestly... And this is just my opinion so don't get mad... But for myself, one tattoo is too many. I just don't like the way they look and don't see the purpose of ruining your beautiful skin with permanent ink. Tattoos, if done well, can achieve a certain aesthetic that can look good and give off certain vibes—expressive, wild, edgy, interesting, exciting, etc. But, to look that way, it requires an ensemble of clothing and accessories that the tattoos will complement. In a way, tattoos are like wearing accessories, only you can’t take them off. So, you really have to commit to the looks and outfits that go will with your tattoos and wave goodbye to aesthetics that don’t harmonize well with your tattoos.

Personally, I prefer no tattoos. There’s a certain charm that only comes with not having tattoos at all, like an aura of innocence and natural beauty. And, even if that’s not what you’re going for, your options are limitless in terms of how you want to dress to express yourself or exude a certain vibe. Having an unmarked body gives you an extreme amount of variety for how you want to dress and appear.

Beauty really is in the eye of the beholder. So, for me, this is more than one question. I am attracted to women. Even though i have my preferences, i’m attracted to all kinds of women. I have been attracted to women with lots of tattoos and/or large tattoos, but not exclusively and not because of the tattoos. Also, the tattoos also have to be attractive. Therein i also have preferences and in that way i may be more choosy than i generally am with women. Curiously. Ell oh ell! Good question! I hadn’t identified that about myself before considering a true and accurate answer to this question.

The only times I'm going to have tattoos are past on or temporary I tattoos for something like a Halloween costume party. I don't like most tattoos. An exception is when a scholarship athlete has a small tattoo of their college mascot.

Tattoos are like short hair, it doesn't work for everyone. And unlike piercings, they're permanent, so I prefer ones you can hide. Tattoos on hands or face rarely look good.

Like Post Malone has made a few decent songs, but it's hard to take seriously someone who looks like a toddler who found a marker pen.

Tattoos with both skill in the artist and meaning for the canvas can become exceptional. But too much is always too much.

I don't like tattoos. I have never seen one that made me think "wow, s/he looks better because of that tattoo". I've seen interesting ones. I've see ones that were true artistry. But, all detract from the person's appearance. I have some older friends that were tattooed when they were younger. All, wish they had never done it.

I don't even notice tattoos that much. I would prefer little to no tattoos. I think a beautiful body with beautiful skin is a work of art already.
The only big issue I have is boob tattoos. Tits are so beautiful and alluring, it bothers me to see them tattooed.

No, I don't like tattoos. A few small tattoos are fine, but more than that... I just don't understand why someone would want to take their already beautiful body and cover it with black (or even color) ink.

Personally, I don't want to have tattoos on my own body. But I've been with a girl who had multiple tattoos on different parts of her body. No issue at all. It didn't make her more attractive, it didn't make her less attractive. I think it would only be too much if large parts of her body were covered in tattoos, e. g. the completely tattooed butt of Cheryl Cole is something I find a bit bizarre.
