Want to get tattoo that goes down my spine but don’t want anything to overboard?

Omg I have that exact same tattoo.

I was going to get it on my face but I didn't want to go overboard so i just got it on three fifths of my back like you did.

As other have said anything more you get will have to go with the owl.

Because there is quite a lot of owl there.

what about a design that incorporates the owl, such as a branch moving to something else but not a full large design like owl.

It’s worth sitting down with your tattoo artist and working out some potential sketches.

I say this to anyone who has to post about what tattoo they should get. First think about what you’re saying. You’re about to spend thousands (if you have someone good) of dollars, hours and hours of time in pain and permanently marking your body. A lifelong commitment and you have to ask what to get? If you don’t have a very definite idea of what you want on your body that really means something to you, then don’t get one until you do.

I would think that with the owls you either need it to be all the way down your spine as it’s own thing like a phrase or some quote or you would need it to be counter balanced with another tattoo or something on the other side as well. Like a walk or lion or something fun. But then what do you do down your spine. Maybe an arrow?

Well, the owl is pretty large and is the focal point of your back. If you got something on your spine, it would look good if it fit in with the owl. Even words could be scripted in a neat way/coloring that would match the owl.

Your only option is something that blends in with the owl.  If you get something unrelated and just slapped there for no reason it will look like a kid's scratchbook
