Hi, so I just got my first tattoo the other day. Its a ring of foliage around my ankle. The tattoo was done on Monday, I took off the saran wrap on Wednesday as my artist recommended.
For the most part the piece is perfectly fine and has no cause for concern except for this one section that looks off to me. I’ve been washing my tattoo with a mild soap every 6 hours or so and patting it dry, letting it breath for about 30 minutes, then applying a thin layer of the aftercare cream i was provided by my artist.
the area isn't warm, doesn’t have a smell or is painful at all, but I know that this isn’t quite normal. I have done my best to leave the tattoo alone completely and have read that if it starts to scab I just have to let it, leave it alone and fall away on its own.
What can I do to fix this so my tattoo isn’t messed up?
