How to ask a tattoo artist to have a tattoo on your shoulder to be a clear tattoo with shadings around it to be exact in a picture?

For example, i would want a tattoo with no shade around it like this... i;

and not a tattoo with the shadings around like this

I'm not sure what it's called as for the techniques done to these tattoos, can someone inform who knows tattoos and knows what i'm trying to say.
