Should I grow my hair or cut it back to the bob?

Longer is always better - as long as you can keep it well-groomed.
Bob is OK if you have to (ex., military on deployment)

When I have a Bob it’s easy to maintain but I miss long hair, when it’s long it’s a pain and messy then I wish I had short hair

I feel ya! I got mine cut short once. Yes, it was easier to maintain! But it just didn’t look or feel right to me. Hard choice.

And the awkward bit of growing out, kind of regretted getting it cut last time but was messy and taking ages to dry. I made very little effort with my hair. Literally turned up to work with it wet this morning
