+1 yFeathery hair (kind of like mullets) but not really. Baggy mom jeans.
Eh some nice mow hawks. Normalize that tho don’t let just the emos take it. Like they don’t have to be a wild neon green and spikey
Like not a bald mow hawk but a nice one lol

- Non-synthetic materials
- Quality over quantity
- Layering (it aaalways adds interest)
- Sexiness with silhouettes, not always showing skin
- Bootcut pants
- Dark, distressed, denim
- Looser fitting clothing but in gorgeous fabrics with drape, and a bit of stretch elastic to add shape
- More diverse fashion, which isn't simply copied ad infinitum (I read an article about the clothing manufacturing industry. It really is almost completely devoid of risk and originality now. Fast fashion has taken over, leaving quality and timeless pieces in the dust. Makes us buy more. 75% of clothing is thrown out simply due to pilling.)
- 3-pocket design on right side on blazers/sportcoats
- Hats of all designs (not baseball caps. Everything else.)

Long hair, sideburns, brightly coloured clothing, bandanas and wooden clogs. Don't forget the VW Microbus, it's all part of the look!
Also Victorian corsets. I've always felt they looked quite elegant and classy.
If it was a fashion trend for toys, I think the Big Trak which was a small programmable truck for kids under the age of 10 and came with an optional unloading trailer.00 Reply

+1 yCurrently building a Norse/Celtic outfit. So far I have trousers, tunic, leather shoes, kaftan/jacket, leg wraps, arm ring, torc, and a belt. I want to get an undertunic and cloak next. As well, a pouch and dagger to attach to the belt.

I already have complete outfits from the Victorian Era, 1920s, 1940s, 50's. Have a shirt and cravat from Regency era.

Fucking SEXY!
My man always dresses nice: collared shirt, nice pants, looks good in a hat of any kind... Yup I lucked out with a guy who dresses the way I think is the sexiest!
Personally, I can't stand a guy with his ass hanging out of his pants, but to each their own.10 Reply
+1 yTogas. I want to see CSPAN have to apologize because waht they thought was a Congressional hearing was actually a frat party. Failing that, bring back landsknecht chic:

In addition to looking cool, it's an onomatopoeia for sneezing. 10 Reply
+1 yIn general, I think any of the dresses from the 1880s-1910s would pretty impressive to see. there's a decent variety and designs to choose. As for the weirdest one, I'd go for men's fashion during the 1790s, the coats, the vests, anything but the breeches. That's the second worst thing I've seen beside mutton chops. 😬

+1 yBell bottoms. Dashikis. Headbands (the kind that go across the forehead, not the Alice bands). Izars/lungis/kilts/pretty much any skirts for men. Wide collars for men. Round glasses. Long hair for men. Tzitzit. Loom bands. That dot that people wear on their foreheads. Sideburns. Big facial hair. Kuffiya (that scarf that people wear around their head; I think that’s what’s called a kuffiya). Hennas. Big hair, like Jon Bon Jovi’s when it was long. Peace sign necklace.

Let's bring back the chest pocket protector, the slide rule and clip on ties.
Wearing clothes more than once or a couple times. People are pressured to get new outfits for each event, and the fashion industry is the only one who benefits. Fast fashion is crazy

@Smashingdoozy really how exciting. when they wear it looks it’s barely on then also would happen is their panties would always show in the back. With thongs it’s known as whale tail, I actually prefer when they wear fullbacks. I remember thongs were a big thing like now.

Don’t men still wear cravats? But aye, they do look groovy on women.
Opinion Owner+1 y@HippieVeganJewslim No, I have never seen men wearing cravats. fastened with the pin. It is only I.
- +1 y
Cravat is a necktie, how I learnt it. It’s called so because Croatians (Hrvatians) wore them. Compare the word to German Krawatte and to Spanish corbata. Are you using cravat to mean something other than necktie?
