I'm trying to amass a collection overtime.

My recent buy, getting it tomorrow, is Dolce & Gabbana The One EDP full-sized

The ones you see pictured from left to right are:

-1 million Parfum
-Prada l'homme
-Sauvage Dior
-YSL EDT
-Bleu de Chanel

My favorite? As of now, perhaps Sauvage.
To me, it signifies a modern masculine smell. There's a lot of things going on with it, depending on the person who smells it.
There's a subtle hint of spiciness, which gets dominated by a scent of cleanliness and freshness. Think of a brand new bed, fresh linens and all OR a brand new car where once you open it you're welcomed by the newness of everything. The seats, dash, and everything else are nearly untouched and clean.

Ultimately, it smells like any new, untouched, and clean place.

My favorite on women? More vanilla and fruity dominated notes.
As well as a spicy and lavender compliment

Bleu De Chanel is on my wishlist because I use just one at a time generally

N. b. my other hitlist bottles are Tom Ford Black Orchid, Montblanc Explorer and Creed Viking (Aventus is good but is overhyped/faked an awful lot)

I have never smelt it but the notes seem nice. I think TF Tobacco Oud can work at night. I feel like mainstream scents can be generic. I like a unique and personal scent. Sometimes, though, all you need is a nice clean scent. That is a crowd pleaser among women.

Specific fragrances for women? I don't really know specific names.

But for the notes, I do like a mix of vanilla, lavender, and floral/fruity.

I think these are signature feminine scents.

I don’t actively purchase perfume. I don’t wear it for the most part. I prefer oils…rarely use those. I love sweet, dark, sultry smells. They are not easy to come by, not the kind that truly pleases me.
I don’t like perfumes/oil on others.

Rule of thumb in my book, natural “odor” is enough.

i mainly use chanel nr 5 or rose oud/ rose fraiche from yves rocher. the last two ones aren't very expensive but i absolutely love how they smell


i don't know much about male fragrances, just that i seemingly don't like most of them. at least the ones that don't smell natural

I got that Sauvage for my husband for his birthday in April. It does smell very 👍 I use Estee Lauder Beautiful or Pleasures. I'm old school. Chanel No 5 stinks to me.. smells like the brake cleaner I use!

although, I agree... some hints of vanilla essence on women is absolutely great

Well, a lot of high quality fragrances use ingredients from oils, flowers, animals, etc.

This is in part why fragrances are quite expensive.

A lot of the fragrances created from this combo of naturally-found ingredients will indeed smell like a amalgamation or mixture of all of them.

They're not necessarily artificial aromas

they are, because the aroma of a perfume is manufactured on purpose

what you sense is the combination that didn't exist previously in nature, it was made at a lab for mass consumerism

and that is artificial

There's nothing artifical you're smelling though if that makes sense.

Now, if you want to say there's artificial ingredients in there, sure but you started off saying "artificial aromas" but you're not really smelling those

Those are more for longevity of the fragrance and what not.

well... just so you know, I do naturally smell like a brand new spicy glove compartment that's never been opened before so it's quite clean in aroma, with a hint of freshly made bed from an autumn almost winter morning... that's just my natural aroma and become of my biology

I didn't have to pay for it to be artificially assembled...

YSL is one of top favorite killer cologne fragrance it’s a head turining top notch if you’re going out with sum friends I’d recommended it
