hello everyone! So I (16), am choosing an outfit to wear but I don’t know if it’s immodest. Do you in your opinion, think it’s okay to wear at home? May I please have your opinion and suggestions please!

I do not know about the boundaries in your house in case of modesty. Judging by your skin and hair colour, you seem like a Western woman and I think most, if not all, of the Western people are fine with the dresses you showed. They're covering much more skin then the norm in the west today.

With that bring said, I didn't like your skirt and white top combination. The colour is too dull. You should wear that skirt with dark colours like a black top.

I liked all of the pictures with jeans. They're perfectly modest and you're looking very good in those. Wear those outfits more often.

Yes, I am from the United States but all my family on my moms side and my father are from Europe (Estonia and Ukraine) I am thinking of donating any clothing that show below the collar bone like the buttoned top in outfits 2 and 4. I definitely try to wear modest outfits that cover everything but that are cute and comfortable!

I didn't know that those European countries are that strict. I'm from India (a very conservative country) and showing some upper chest is totally fine here. But skirt may not be allowed here.

Totally appropriate. Other girls your age wear crop tops and tiny shorts. Makes me question the ability of these fathers or mothers who allow their daughters to wear such immodest things.

Well, my grandfather is at home. I‘ve been taught to cover up and to not really show any skin like the knees and shoulders. I also don’t want to make people uncomfortable or embarrassed with what I’m wearing.

Then why are you asking us? If you're a product of what you've been taught, just cover as much skin as possible. Wouldn't want grandpa having a heart attack due to seeing your knees! That skin showing on your neck in outfits 2 and 4 would probably do him in.

I don’t know, people have said to me that I should cover my knees and that it’s very immodest showing my knees. By the way, my grandfather nor anyone was at home at the time so it was just me. So, that’s why I decided to wear the skirt and wear that button top.

I wear jeans at home because I don’t have any dresses or skirts that go to the knee. But, if I’m in my room I just wear comfy shorts
