+1 yI hate tattoos so, to be frank, they ALL look awful to me.
The bottom line is they look gross and 100% unnatural to me. The entire subject of tattoos is just gross to me. It is manmade ink. It is produced in a factory and it is usually green or black. It is painfully needled into someone's flesh and it is permanent. It never goes away.
I like all natural women. A woman who has forever changed her natural appearance by having dark green ink forever all over her skin always looks awful to me and is always unattractive. It was always a deal breaker when dating too.
I was never going to marry a woman who was into tattooing herself and have tattoos. I was always going to marry a woman with no tattoos.
To be frank, I consider this obsession people of the last 30 years have with permanently scarring themselves like this to be insanity.

Nope. I would never marry a woman with a visible tattoo, and to be honest I would not take a woman with tattoos seriously. It says a lot.
First, they are a permanent alteration that is not necessary. Tattoos can become a health issue later on, especially for x-rays if the ink has any metals in it.
Second tattoos tend to fade over time, meaning touchups and larger tats covering the smaller. This means more money.
Third, most tats are not well thought out. The subjects are often stuff they like, sometimes edgy when they are young.
Fourth, it says you have a freaky weird streak on you.

depends, i have my arm done, work in healthcare have had no employment issue due to it, also my own artwork. but there is a fine line, some is actual art, some is just horrible, there is the point of way to much like eyes, why tattoo your eyes? there is a huge difference between an owl and an insane clown posse tattoo. good art costs money and even still you have to research your artists capabilities and specialties

ahh not good
good so depends on the actual things they have

@SamIam96 they are permanent as well is what i am getting at, the hole may shrink but never goes away. people choose to alter their bodies for lots of reason and in many ways, its at then end of the day your life and your choice, while you can have your opinion and disagreements, you also can always ask hey does this have a meaning? when you see a tattoo, i mean art, there is normally a story behind it and it has meaning as mine does. its all the same no matter size or shape you know? mutilation as to what you said is mutilation no matter size shape of the alteration to your body
+1 yWhat do these tats look like? Artful or skin mutilation? Some are good but too much of anything becomes boring and unoriginal.

Why can't they apply their (varied) talents by placing their artwork on- oh, let's just take a wild shot, here- canvas on stretcher bars, water color paper, etc., and not humans.

+1 yNope, depends on the tattoo tho but mostly no
00 Reply I'm one of the 'depends' people. Depending on what they are, where they are, and how many there are. Whenever I see someone heavily inked or multiply inked in visibile ways, the first thought that comes to mind is emotional baggage. Either someone with something traumatic in their past, determined to make a statement, or unhappy/insecure with who they are.
None of those interest me or make me want to engage with them.
People who stamp obviously sexual images or words on them? Yes, trashy fits. Again, nothing there of interest or reason to engage with them.
A tattoo itself does not make you look trashy. It's what you convey with it that implies to the world you are trashy or broken or just screwed up.
My 2 cents.
I have a sailboat on my back. It's fairly small, boat flying wing and wing under a full moon. I spent years on the ocean. That image is as much a part of me and my mindset as anything else. For me, it's freedom, leaning to be the master of your own destiny, and to some degree, a rejection of the place society has become.
If you want a tattoo, get one. It won't make you look trashy unless you want it to. That's the bottom line. Just don't be stupid about it or do it when you're drunk. My wife has a drunken tattoo from her 19 year-old self she wishes she'd never gotten.
As art, they never make a body look better. It's like pasting a cartoon or bad sketch on your body. Some will disagree with that, but over time, skin evolves, ink fades. The wife's is mostly a blue blob on her back. Keep that in mind when choosing what you put on your body and where you put it.00 ReplyTo me, yeah, they mostly do. But more so, they make someone look boring, cliché, and unoriginal. Tattoos are what boring people think makes them "cool and original." Though I'll give a full pass to tribal and ancestral tattoos if you're Native American or Pacific Islander.

Tattoos are not boring. They are intensely impressive pieces of artwork. Getting tattooed by someone is one of the most special human to human interactions a person can experience in their life.

+1 yIt depends upon the location, size and the nature of the tattoo.
There is a difference between a little butterfly on your wrist and big text of "WHORE" on your forehead.
I'd say tramp stamps are considered trashy. Face tattoos are trashy. Countless tattoos are trashy. Trashy tattoos are trashy (you know what they are). And don't even talk about tattoos on genitals.
Apart from that, I think tattoos make women look smokin hot.
10 Reply 380 opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. In my opinion tattoos ALWAYS make a woman look worse, NEVER better. It makes them look like a trashy bar whore to me. Even if I am attracted to a woman's face and build, once I know she has tattoos she always loses some of her appeal to me, and usually loses all of her appeal.
40 ReplyI don’t think tattoos make anyone look trashy. It’s so much more a fashionable thing now rather than just for alternative people. Saying this I have loads of tattoos, neck, my hand, sleeves. I say look how you want to look and DGAF what anyone else thinks. I really hate the whole “tattoos are not feminine” comments as if that changes why we want them. We want them for us not you boo.

00 ReplySometimes, sometimes trashy is sexy too though. 😝 I don’t think there are any rules obviously smaller feminine tattoos on a woman would be generally more appealing but it’s your body as long as they fit your personality they are attractive in my opinion.

+1 yI guess it all depends. I saw a girl in a video that had a spider tattoo on her pelvic region. Can you imagine going into a tattoo shop and asking to see the catalogs, and then picking a spider? lol
"Yes! That's it! Screw the butterfly and heart symbol. I want the spider."
00 Reply394 opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. I've always heard that a woman has never improved her appearance with a tattoo. I agree as it seems like self mutilation. A screw you to your future and more mature self.

+1 yI don’t know about trashy (unless you have a tattoo of a skunky butthole). I personally do not like the aesthetic. For me it looks messy or too much going on. With that said I know some people love them and if you think you won’t regret it later than go for it and don’t worry what other think because no matter what your style is it won’t be for everyone.
10 ReplyIt depends on the type of tattoo and where the tattoos are located. I have seen some women with a lot of tattoos that look hot…. and some with few tattoos that look trashy. With that said, ultimately I think your physical attraction to the individual helps to minimize or accentuate the positive or negative perception.

+1 yThat's a personal preference. I think they look awesome obviously... I'm covered in them. But it's not some peoples preference. But I don't think that it not being your preference gives you any right to judge people who do have them or do like them.
18 Reply- +1 y
A lot of crack addicts and gang members have tattoos too, as well as a lot of scum of the earth. So you are darn right I am going to judge them. You just can't always tell if it is trashy people with trashy tattoos, or good people who had a lousy tattoo artist.
- +1 y
Ah yes let's judge people who have had it hard in life because that's what decent human beings do. While we are here playing into stereotypes how are you an avocado loving, participation trophy having, tinder using, lazy worker millennial doing?
- +1 y
To a certain extent yes. Of course I judge people sometimes but I don't express my judgement.
- +1 y
I think there's a big difference in what type of person you are when you think a judgment and have the decency to realize that your thoughts can significantly impact a persons life so you choose not to express them over a person who thinks and says it not caring that it can impact someone's life.
- +1 y
If tattoos are for people who have had it "Hard in life", there must be an epidemic of hard life individuals. Plus, they are not the only ones that have had it hard but who didn't get tattoos. To me its like a fad. Get a tattoo because everyone is doing it. I do agree that it's a personal choice, just like anything else in life. And that also means not everyone is going to like them or hate them, or think that they cool, or think they look trashy.
- +1 y
I was talking about you judging people who are addicts or in gangs.

+1 yAlthough I'm not into tattoos for myself, I actually admire some tattoos I've seen on some women.
Some tattoos can make a woman look classy.
Some tattoos can make a woman look trashy.
00 Reply 685 opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. It makes them look like they were dumb enough to think they could treat their body the way a man treats his body and the outcome would be different/better. A tat is not going to make a woman look more like a woman or better. It's a negative.

in my opinion, the more tattoos, the more i assume they probably fit that mold. Visibility and location also plays a role. Whether getting it while intoxicated or to mask other pain, reasons/when they got them, if known, are telling

+1 yIt depends on where it is on her body and what the artwork is depicting. Trying to be thoughtful.
A red rose on a girl's arm can be pretty/sexy.

+1 yThey can, but they also might not. It depends on a number of factors such as the quantity of tattoos, body placement, and what the tattoo consists of. I have quite a few myself. To be honest I don’t think being covered in them is a very attractive look on a female.
00 Reply547 opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. No. I don't. I think they are an esthetic choice like so many things in life. You can get a nice tattoo or an ugly one it all depends on the opinion of the one seeing it
00 Reply619 opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. Not trashy. It doesn't improve anything but it's unacceptable inside some societies and in jobs where you have to appear sterile hygienic, professional and trustworthy
00 Reply- 2.2K opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic.
+1 yDepends on the tattoo and, where they are, and how many cover her body. For me, one or two small tattoos are okay, but a woman whose body is covered is not attractive to me.
00 Reply Depends on the tattoo. Any and all facial tattoos on anybody, not just women are trashy, but I've seen some tattoos that look amazing on some women

10 Reply649 opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. Yeah mostly. Especially if they've done the artwork. If you are going to get a tat ask yourself - does anybody pay me to do tat artwork? If not pick from the book.

00 ReplyNot necessarily. It depends on what she gets, where she gets it, and how she gets it done. And to me, some people just don't rock with tattoos and some do.
00 Reply3.1K opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. Personally I think they do... However, it is entirely her prerogative what she chooses to do to her body.

1. How many she has.
2. The location.
3. The size.
4. Subject matter.
5. Style they are done in.
6. Color
7. Quality.
The reason for getting them. It is more about the mindset.00 Reply - 754 opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic.
+1 yThe larger they are and the more visible they are, the trashier they look. Doesn't mean you start getting 10 small tattoos under the clothes. Well... I'll say 9. Someone told me you never do tattoos in even count. Hmmm...
00 Reply No more trashy than they make a man look. Which is to say not at all. I find tattoos sexy.
10 ReplyThis is my personal opinion. No offense to anyone, but I’m not a fan of tattoos on girls. If it’s one or two little ones maybe.
10 Reply2.1K opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. yes they do almost always. very occasionally with delicate tattoos on the right woman in the right places they don't look quite as bad. I wonder why women do this since most men really dislike tattoos on women.
