Men in skirts: hot or not?

I wish more men wore skirts honestly. Especially if you have the legs for it, it's so attractive, but also just cause it would give you more options for clothes, it's cooler in warm months, and you maybe wouldn't have to adjust your junk as often if you didn't have pants up between your legs all the time.

Skirts aren't even feminine, they're just sexier than most pants. And they do sell men's skirts. Just may have to find them online instead of in stores cause a lot of big brands are still being ninnies about it.

Yes, some men can, but most men do not. First of all, we largely stopped wearing skirts because they are fucking useless and impractical compared to pants. I'm Celtic, so I'd rock a kilt if that were all I had, and I have the physique for it, but pants feel way better. Sure, a skirt might allow more room for the testicles, but it also leaves them more exposed than necessary. We can't have the pearls too vulnerable, now can we? We invented a plethora of loose pants for a reason--room for the balls and protection for them. There are very few situations where they might actually be useful instead of being a somewhat unnecessary fashion statement. It's not that skirts are bad, it's that men look way hotter in pants and it's way simpler to just wear pants. We originally ditched skirts and invented pants because were objectively better. Women stopped wearing skirts to WEAR pants once feminism took hold because pants are better lol Why would we ever go back to skirts? Might as well type this message and send it on my carrier pigeons.

I think I look pretty good in a skirt. I once bought 9 yards of tartan and wore it as a kilt pretty often (in the USA). I also bought some Yemeni dress when I was there and wore that a lot. I just wore it the other day, actually.

A skirt is great, it's very light, freedom of movement if it's high enough, and in some cases it's basically the next best thing to being naked. :)

Well, I’m very easy going with a LOT of things, for example I could care less if a guy wants to wear panties, but I DO draw the line at skirts/dresses! If I happen to marry a Scott, and he wants a traditional Scottish wedding where the men wear kilts that’s totally fine, but once the wedding is over he better stay out of my closet! Death in a dress and crop top! This only can be pulled of by a young, slim man. Looks very anime' ish. From a distance so androgynous can't tell if male or female. Objectively, yes, there are some men who would look great in a skirt (not just a kilt, either). It would depend on the guy, their legs, and the top they were wearing. A lot of the "hotness" would come from their confidence to do it. But, here's the thing: there's magic when a girl wears a skirt. Let's not take that away by having guys wear them.

If you ARE a man, I don't see how you can't BE a man, no matter what you wear. Men in drag shows are still men, no matter what outrageous, silly stuff they wear. RuPaul is a man! It's his JOB to do drag and he gets paid.

Wearing pink or some other pastel color, even using an object like a toothbrush that is the "wrong" color can bring a man's masculinity into question in this toxic culture. I live in board shorts. Don't wear skirts. Dresses are for funerals, weddings and graduations. I call it my lesbian garb, because I think people think I'm a lesbian. But interested men see me. They are the few and the brave, just as the men who wear kilts, skirts or dresses or do drag are. I don't think anybody ever questioned comedians Flip Wilson or Jamie Foxx's sexualities. A lot of trouble to wear: shave the legs (yep I do it if I'm going to wear stockings and look formal), put on sheer stockings and heels. Whereas some leggings and a long man's shirt are simple and elegant for most occasions. I dress up my lezzie garb with lipstick and eye makeup, so, hopefully, people see me as a woman. I also wear my hair very short because, again, I don't want to be bothered since I do home maintainance and garden regularly and sweat a lot when working. Right now, I'm painting inside my house and latex can get in my hair. I like it simple. I'm busy. Don't lead a life of leisure. Maybe some women do, and do very little physical work. So I'm into convenience. Attractove. clean and casual.

Not to mention most skirts are just impractical and hinder movement greatly. Men are naturally created for combat which means anything that causes less range of motion is automatically seen as bad for us. Pants give the ideal mix of protection and motion range.

There's a difference between a skirt and a kilt. Skirts are short and above the knee. Kilts are uniformly worn; length is waist to half knee, goes off of waist size not pants size, pleats in the back - apron in the front, and wear a belt & sporran (unless it is a utility kilt, it doesn't have pockets) kilts are military historically so they are worn in a very specific way and are always designed very specifically... skirts are not
