Is it worth it to spend like $30-50 on a bottle of higher quality hair shampoo/condioner each when you can buy a cheaper one that is like 7.99 each?

i switch shampoo likes every few washes so i have a few. it doesn't really matter. i've had high end and i've had low end. i usually stick with the low end because it doesn't make much difference in my hair compared to high end and it goes down the drain anyways. but sometimes i get high end because of the smell. just depends on what i'm feeling. but honestly, low end is what i usually go for.

Bigger investments are sometimes necessary and more expensive hair products are typically better overall. I would definitely read reviews on that $30-$50 bottle beforehand, because some shampoos can be an overall waste of money especially because everyone’s hair is different, but a $7.99 bottle is usually a company putting pure garbage in a bottle and profiting majorly off of it.

I wouldn’t spend that much. Try Hibar, one bar lasts months and it costs about $10 for me. You can also try Native, Hask, or something else. Look at the ingredients basically, and look for sulfate-free, paraben-free, and phthalate-free.

I thought it was worth it, but I learned it was a waste. I haven't seen a difference yet. Nothing store bough for home looks as good as the salon makes it look

Depends on how well the more expansive one works. I use L’Oréal Absolut Repair. It’s not too costly and does the job.
