Girls, Would you date a young guy who wore a full wig (no it’s not noticeable) due to hair-loss?

Not only did I lose my hair at 19 but have a skin condition that pretty much only affects the scalp. Causing very dry patches. I’m lily white. I actually got fitted with a very nice quality wig and genuinely, it’s not noticeable. I must emphasize that repeatedly. People always say ‘every wig I see is bad and obvious’ but that’s because you CAN’T see the good ones. Now I’m very open about it. Most people know I wear it and I openly talk about it. I’m not shameful, it’s no different than wearing extensions or makeup or going tanning. Honestly most people around me seem really cool with it. I think that the fact I’m so upfront about it helps, there’s no insecurities attached. I just like the way I look with it.

Haven't men been covering up hair loss for thousands of years by wearing toupees? It that the makes you feel better then by all means wearing. The more comfortable you are the more others will be more accepting.

Not my preference but I doubt that it would be a dealbreaker, especially if you're confident in it. Never forget y'all, confidence is sexy 👍

I mean probably better to explain it relatively early on rather than months in, but just sort of consider when you think it's reasonable to share any other major medical issues that affect your life/lifestyle. If you think that shouldn't be shared on the first date or two, then don't.

I take it a wig (even if not noticeable) is a dealbreaker for you. Let’s put it better this way. What if you met a guy you really liked, and after a couple dates he revealed he was wearing a wig. You had no idea but he revealed it early on to be honest. Would that change your attraction to him?

No pressure, you’re entitled to your opinions. In my mind it’s no different than makeup or hair extensions. Plus quality ones are totally indistinguishable.

No mine is very reserved and fits my natural hair well. Definitely not those ‘too perfect’ pompadour wigs or wild anime wigs.
