Do women's hair products work the same for men?

I always thought that hair products were unisex but it seems like almost 95% of the shampoos and conditioners out there seem to market towards women till the point that sometimes I feel kinda homophic just using any type of shampoo/conditioner.

or a more logical reason, because I fear that maybe as man most hair products out there are not gonna give me the same results women get out of it.

till then are hair products really unisex? or is there really a difference in the way both men and women grow hair? dont get me wrong I'm aware that hair is just hair in the end but at the same time there are some factors that can make a difference such as hormones.

My wife gives me all of the stuff she doesn't like and it works just fine on my hair.
When I worked as a heavy truck mechanic in my younger days I used Wisk laundry detergent because that was the only thing that got the grease and oil out of my hair.

Nope it works fine regardless of gender, it’s just marketing. Some products marketed to men or woman actually work better like guy razors are definitely better than those marketed towards women

No difference. Only marketed at women since that was the whole "women must look great" bit of past. My partner just steals my hair care all the time.
