Some people believe if a women wears red nails (nail polish, press ons,..) she appears to be more attractive. (Kinda the same as wearing red clothes)
This is one of a thousand examples of where women fail to separate the difference between SEXUAL attraction and romantic/relationship attraction.
Red nails will get you SEXUAL attention from lots of men. Congratulations. Getting sexual attention from men is not hard to do. But what it won't generally do is get you Romantic/relationship attention. Instead, you'll be seen as a sex object since that's how you will be seen to be advertising yourself. And if you just want casual sex, then, great, mission accomplished. But if you want a real, committed, serious relationship, sexualizing yourself is one of the worst ways you can go about finding that.
It's kind of like if I drove around in an ice cream truck, but only had vegetables to sell. I couldn't get mad when people were upset that I couldn't give them ice cream, or that no one wanted to buy my vegetables, because my advertising didn't match my product.
I do believe in black nail 💅 polish theory which can symbolise "female toxicity", "damage" or "past trauma".
Women like this tend to have low self-esteem. They've broken down over time which causes them to overthink and therefore self sabotage situations with men they're talking to in the dating scene.
AVOID THESE TYPE OF WOMEN!!!
all I see when I see dark nail colors is OLD lady appearance. I've always thought that since I was little all the way up until this very day. I do think it makes pale or peachy skin look somewhat attractive to the eye but over all I just see OLD lady vibes. I see a lot of young and older women wear it and for me it just looks old on all of them, especially if they are long and pointy like the one on the photo, but I am a female and I suppose what matters most is what men, STRAIGHT men think about this as a whole.
Yes I actually helped my friend with her psychology college course one day and it was a study about how red lipstick and the color red in general makes you look physically more appealing to men. The study concluded that is actually does make you appear more attractive

There's a reason Chris de Burgh did the song Lady In Red.
There is actually a book that I found in my local library that was all about how the male brain deciphers different colours on a woman. According to the book, red, black and purple all gets deciphered by a man’s brain as attraction, power, leadership or death.
For me it's definitely true.
I like dark stilettos the most, almonds are also good- dark red, brown, gray, black are all fine with me.
Light, bright or colorful square and squoval nails are horrendous, in my opinion.

It could be true. Red is a very bold colour to wear and I do think you have to be an extremely confident person to feel comfortable wearing red on your nails. That said I personally when I do choose to paint my nails I really love all colours. A woman that wears red nail varnish could mean that she's also a very passionate person. So I'm not too sure if red nail polish is worn by a woman it's just solely down to her being an attractive.
Personally I don't put nail color on a pedestal. But I know that red is the most attractive color to the human eye. We notice that color the most, hence why many important things are red (firetrucks, hospital signs, stop signs, danger signs). So I get why this might be a thing.
when you go past a new or used car lot there are/were always a red car or two out front.
Since red is a very tough color to paint, more emissions back in the day, now it is more silver, white and black.
Maybe that is why so many fire trucks are red, they command more attention.
No. It draws attention (which the color red does in general, and typically a red dress or outfit is more effective in this regard), but it doesn't actually make a woman look more attractive than she otherwise would (or wouldn't) be.
I've never been a fan of fingernail polish or lipstick, so it's never been something that has made a woman more attractive to me. 🤷🏼♂️ To each their own of course, but it's just not something I have ever gravitated toward.
Same reason they use red for stop lights and emergency stop buttons. It draws the eye. It's a primal instinct because red in nature indicates a fruit is ready to eat, we're preprogrammed to eat red things.
i am not a fan of this color on myself... glittery red i think is better for me or purple. i look young wo if i wear this i i would look tryinh too hard to be mature. i try to look mature though because i also don't wanna look like a kif

I don't know about the theory but it does work for me... I normally go for more natural looking women without makeup but the red nails never fail. I even paint my toes' cause my feet look prettier xD

When women wear colors that are typically considered feminine, they are often perceived as being more feminine by men. That resonates positively with straight men. Often those are softer colors. Pastels come to mine... Aggressive sharp loud colors are typically less attractive. The same goes for body features. Men like soft features on women, not huge pointy nails or puffy injected lips or giant hair buns on top of their head. They want to see flowing curves, soft wavy long hair, soft eyes, etc.
Well women that wear red have been the subject of a lot of songs and movies and such so maybe hehe
I think colours making someone look better depends on 2 things. The woman's looks such as skin tone, hair and eye colour. And the guys colour preference as well. As if the guy likes the colour and it matches the woman's looks then it will likely create a greater attraction.

Its more about clothes, makeup, skin tone preferences etc. Surely red nail or red lipsticks looks hot on a woman but if you combine with your dress and your skin tone you will look gorgeous.

I don't think I believe in it. Yes, red nails may make a woman look more attractive, and to me it is one of the best nail colors on a woman. But other colors can too. So red isn't necessarily the only magic color.
