I wore one on my wedding night but ultimately stockings can stay up on their own now or a woman can wear tights.

  It's usually only young girls who actually wear stocking now in combination with a short dress so you can see the top of the stocking. Personally I just go with tights

I think younger women don’t wear them because they take longer to put on…. they wear thigh high stockings instead. Older woman appreciate the look and feel more feminine and confident wearing them. It seems like most men get aroused when they see a woman in nylon stockings and a garter belt. They are sexy and a little naughty.
