Ok so I'm 18 year old and I have dress and family doesn't want me to wear it on the because it is tight should I wear it they are saying I'm showing too much and it is tight?

Ugh that's tough. Families can be so annoying about that kinda stuff. A few thoughts:

- Really depends on how tight/revealing it actually is. If it's like super skimpy, I get why they'd be uncomfortable.

- But you're 18, so you should be able to decide what you feel comfortable in too. As long as it's not slutty, you're good.

- Is there a compromise, like could you pair it with a cute cardigan or something over top to make them feel better?

- Are you going out partying or is it like a family dinner? Context matters.

- Ultimately you gotta feel confident in yourself. Don't let them mess with your head!

- Maybe show a friend the outfit first and get their honest opinion if you're worried.

If it were me, I'd feel your aunts out more first. Reassure them you're not trying to upset anyone, you just like the way it looks. Then see if you can tweak it to meet in the middle. Compromise is usually the way. But don't be afraid to stand up for yourself either if you really love the dress! You do you.

don't wear it, if it wasjustyour father or brother didn't want you to wear it it could be at least an over exxageration (probably spelled it wrong) but even your mother not wanting you to wear it is a sign that that dress is a red flag.

all though i'm sure your father not wanting you to wear that has an good reason stop with the i'm18 an adult shitand just think, if it was good for me why would my own father who raised me from the birth doesn't want me to wear it?
