Why do some girls wear both shorts and underwear under their skirts at the same time?

I do, because I often sit cross legged or sit with one leg up, as it’s more comfortable. I have no interest in having people look up my skirt or dress and seeing my underwear. Exception being my partner. I don’t usually wear anything under a skirt or dress when we’re home alone. No need to.

I just wear underwear under a skirt. That said, some girls are worried someone will get a look. Shorts cover a lot more than most undies.
