How many guys like to own nice things?

I have two rescue kittens who are very much my "nice things."

I also have a bunch of art that's insured for a fair amount of money in some unfortunate circumstance should arise and some nice guns. A number of vases, too, now that I think about it. Some handmade rugs I've picked up in my travels which appraised nicely, but I just use them as rugs. The only thing I'd run into a burning building for is the rescue kittens though.

I like nice things, but they're probably different than the things you like. Scented candles, expensive soaps/creams/lotions, fancy blankets, baskets, serving platters, window treatments, vases, fresh cut flowers, etc. aren't particularly exciting to me. I do appreciate having nice towels and my wife converted me to care more about bedding, additionally, I do care about having art hanging on the walls, and furniture that looks good, while also being comfortable.

Other nice things I care about are my computer, vehicle, and having quality tools. That includes power tools, but also quality pots/pans and cooking knives.

If you mean quality things then yes. I don't own many things at all though. I grew up a few weeks away from being homeless so if I couldn't carry it, I didn't own it. The only things I own are a couple houses, a car, a computer (nothing fancy it gets the job done for a fair price) and a box of keepsakes and cards and letters from friends and lovers.

I like to have some nice things. I don't have a ton cause nice things tend to be pricy. I spent most if my available funds on the house and car.

But I still have a few nicer (r) shirts, a nice jacket, and I actually have quite a bit of nice underwear. Surprising I know but it is what it is.

i dont. when i own nice cars, i worry that others will dent it. if i own nice clothes i worry about getting it ripped, or ruined. when i drive cheap cars, i dont worry about that. wearing cheap clothes, dont worry about ripping or ruining it. also i prefer to keep things balanced. if i own nice vases, or artwork, then it just means i can spend less on other things like unlimited data, or high speed internet at home

I love nice clothes and art. My wife brings clothes home on approval. The best she's found is a Jean-Paul Gaultier sweater from a thrift shop for $25. I collect pots for souvenirs when I travel. Scented candles no.

Its the definition what things are nice that varies from person to person.

I like to own well made stuff. I buy clothes mostly from Carhartt. I have American made boots and shoes. I have a nice truck as well. I buy tools made in USA as well. I am not big on amenities.

I own a truly stunning pot to cook my plain pasta in. The way it evenly distributes heat is absolutely mind-blowing.

They don't have to be "nice or expensive" but they have to be things that I like or have an emotional connection with like a gift from a friend or relative etc.

I like the clean utilitarian look. My stuff is “nice”. But some (my mother) may argue it lacks character.

I'm simply not into material stuff. A nice suit and shoes and here and that is fine, but I seriously don't like having much things as I see such as useless.

I don’t buy cheap stuff so if I do buy something it’s usually nice like brand name electronics and sneakers

I try and limit my spending of “junk” and have nice usable things. I apply that policy through every facet of my life.
