How do I stop judging people with plastic surgery?

This is a bad ick I have… but I feel like it’s vanity or some type of body dysmorphia… why am I so judge mental over this?

I feel the same. I understand some plastic surgery, after cancer for instance. And some corrective surgery after loosing weight. Hell, I even understand (but don't think its necessary) that some girls think it's important to go from a AA to a C.

But for some reason the new trend is as fake as possible. Lips that look like those blow up thingies your mother put on your arm when you went swimming. Boobs where the term bolt on would be an understatement. Butt lifts that make you look like gravity putt everything it could find in the bottom part of your body. It's terrible.

Why? Because you're human. We're not always able to just not care and mind our business all the time. If you feel this way and keep it to yourself don't worry about it. That said it you're calling people out in public not minding your own business, then I'd say you gotta problem lol.

The things we tend to judge in others are the things we judge in ourselves. Everything we judge is just a mirror reflecting ourselves back to us.

So how about you stop judging yourself for your looks or physical attractiveness, or judging yourself for altering your appearance to make you more or less attractive? Then you'll naturally stop judging others for the same thing.

I once stopped being friends with a girl in high school, because she laughed at people who dressed poorly.

We both were judgmental in a way, she was judgmental about people’s appearance and I was judgmental about people’s soul.

I couldn’t be friends with a person who was cruel to poor people.

I judge every single woman I see out in public with those tiny fake noses and massive injected lips. I dont' feel bad about it at all. We're allowed to judge such nonsense.

I think it’s normal to judge things as we’re human but if it’s to the extent where it’s really bothering you and you do something rude to them you need therapy.
