Is anyone else really shallow?

I honestly am pretty shallow when it comes to other peoples looks.

I've always legit been the least in my social circles. Japanese men already tend to not be very shallow (probably because most Japanese are slim and look alike so Japanese men tend to focus much more on personality than physical traits), but I'm even less shallow than any Japanese man I've ever met.

I do care a lot about a woman's health but let's say I have two options:

A) A woman who is currently slim and looks healthy but she's working towards becoming overweight and possibly even obese because she has developed a horribly unhealthy lifestyle binge eating junk food on the couch and never exercising.

B) A woman who is chubby and doesn't look so healthy but she's developed a brand new passion for healthy nutrition and fitness and she's absolutely serious about it and the excess body fat is melting off.

I would choose B without hesitation because B is more likely the superior long-term option as far as physical health since she has the superior healthy lifestyle even though A currently possess the healthier body. I think I'm a much more long-term thinker than most so it's not just about how a woman mental and physical health is now, but how it will likely look in the future. I think the only major difference between me and a lot of men is that a lot of men focus on the now even at the cost of the future, whereas I can even ignore the now in favor of the future.

Also if both are butterfaces, it doesn't matter much to me as long as we click and connect really well and have a blast together. I can fall in love with a butterface through repeated exposure.

I've also always been way more monogamous than most men I've met. Every single woman I ever dated was at least always with the prospect of marrying. So that might be why I'm such a long-term thinker this way and don't care so much about how a woman's body is like right now so much as how it will be like in the future, including for the rest of our lives spent together.

I do want a woman I love to live a long and healthy life so both physical and mental health are extremely important to me. But again that's different from looks. Someone could be extremely healthy mentally and physically and look worse than someone who is very physically and mentally unhealthy, yet I'd always favor the former.

But what if someone is really obese?

That's a tougher one but mainly because I'd generally estimate a low probability of successfully changing such a lifestyle. I think I read in a paper that over 80% of obese people who successfully reach a healthy weight (which is already an extremely small percentage) actually manage to keep it off even for the following three years after they lose it.

So it's a judgment call but generally I'd lean towards the idea that they will fail unless they really seem to be showing serious signs of progress and discipline and in a very sustainable way (enjoying what they are doing instead of feeling like they're torturing themselves).

If I compare it to addictions, something like alcohol or marijuana addiction might be something one can get over with some serious effort. I managed to quit drinking towards the end of last year although I always considered myself so lucky that my wife chose me despite my horrible binge drinking habits since I wouldn't have picked myself in her shoes given this serious alcohol problem.

So I might lenient towards a woman with an alcohol or marijuana addiction who acknowledges it as a problem and is willing to do anything it takes to overcome it, as I have been to get over my own alcohol addiction.

But obesity and not just being overweight/chubby to me is maybe more like heroin addiction than alcohol addiction. It seems incredibly difficult to get over; when we consider people who successfully go from obesity to healthy weight which is already such a teeny percentage of people and then multiply it by the fact that only around 20% of those remaining actually keep the weight off for even 3 years, we're talking about something that might be even more difficult for people to get over than heroin addiction.
