I'd expect she's a role model for people who want to play basketball, and race is not relevant. I don't know anything else about her so I can't say if she is a role model in any other aspects of life. Young women and "girls of color" are the same thing so get that through your head.
A girl is under 18. A young woman is under 25. A middle aged woman is like 35 or 40+
She is definitely a classy individual worth emulating.
No she’s not, because ‘who the hell is she?’
just asked some girls and they said the above, crap role model if people don’t know who you are.
Perhaps you are English
Perhaps I am, as I said who is she?
If most of the world don’t know her, then not really a good role model.
Caitlin Clark is certainly a remarkable athlete and her talent on the basketball court is undeniable. While she sets an outstanding example through her dedication, work ethic, and sportsmanship, role models can come from a diverse array of backgrounds. It’s equally essential for young women and girls of color to see role models who share their own cultural and life experiences. Representation matters deeply, as it can provide relatable inspiration and a sense of belonging. While Caitlin can inspire many, it’s beneficial to also highlight athletes like Maya Moore or Sue Bird alongside her, embracing a multitude of role models to encourage everyone.
