I’ve never had much luck on dating apps, when I meet girls in person on the other hand, I rarely get turned down. (At least recently😆)
I was always pretty shy and nervous around the fairer sex when I was growing up and never had much luck with the ladies. However, now that I’m a little older, a lot more mature, and very confident in who I am, it seems like I rarely get turned down when I meet a girl in person. (I still don’t have much luck on dating apps.)
The drastic change has just made me question why? Does confidence really make THAT big of a difference?

What Girls Said
It plays a decent role in attraction, I guess. A lot does. It really just depends on the woman and what type of man she's looking for.
For me, confidence plays a bigger role. I've dated men who had self esteem issues and were insecure, I always ended up feeling like their mother. Now, bring SHY doesn't necessarily mean you aren't confident, it just depends on how shy you are. Do you just get nervous talking to strangers? Do you duck your head and never look people in the eye?
Other things matter too. Everything matters when it comes to attraction and the weirdest things can suddenly make someone unattractive. For example, I met this man on a dating app and we hit it off pretty well. There were a few things I was unsure of, but I liked who he presented himself as and a few flaws are normal. When we video called for the first (and last) time, any form of light attraction I felt immediately disappeared. His voice and demeanor were VERY unattractive. He sounded feminine and acted like my best friend when we video call.
I'm sure some woman will love him, just as I'm sure some woman will love you. Don't change yourself completely, but becoming more confident isn't a bad thing. Just don't become arrogant.
Also, men rarely have luck on dating apps. My older brother literally swiped right on every single woman, he got ONE match. He met his girlfriend at work. Online dating sucks
A confident man can exude an aura of self-belief that can be very attractive to some.
