I’m sure my status is in the eye of the beholder, haha, but I’ve generally gotten good reviews.

I guess around middle school I started getting female attention, and I think I started thinking of myself as a contender😝 BUT…. I was trying to live up to my idol, Zack Morris (not his real name, but he’s Zack Morris lmfao), and imagine being like 12, 13 years old comparing yourself to this kid…

Still mad that I don’t look like him to this day😂😂😂 DEVASTATING when I found out he wasn’t a natural blond like me lmfao.

So I think I probably sold myself short by comparison, and then additionally, my high school was all dudes (TERRIBLE idea, lmao), so there wasn’t a constant source of women to really gauge it, I just had my own harem in a neighboring city who I messed with, who also gave me good reviews, but it was a small sample size, so I didn’t read too, too much into it.

Also, as a guy, even when successful, you still get shot down left and right (probably not Zack Morris though😖😂), and there are way more losses than wins, so it’s pretty easy to not really know where you stand.

Then I was with a girl for like four or five years who legit might’ve caught a body if another girl even looked my way, she was NUTS, lmfao, so no girls were trying to talk to me much😂

I think I had a couple admirers in college when she and I were still together, but, with all due respect, they weren’t that good looking, and at that time I don’t think it would even log as positive attention in my brain. I think in those days I gauged it by “how many HOT chicks are showing interest”, not just the straight up sum total. Which is dumb, haha.

My early 20s is when I think it started to ratchet up. Some of it may have been a social status thing too, I had a cool job, my friends were all college football players…. I don’t think my looks changed a whole hell of a lot (although I did start working out more seriously a few years prior, that probably helped), I think I just more seemed like “a somebody”, if that makes sense.

But I did my share of dating and hooking up, plus worked in a bar so women were always around to interact with. I was just in a great scene, to be honest, huge state university with tons of young women around. It was shooting fish in a barrel in some senses, at least in terms of opportunities, if not actually closing.

Being around more women with liquor in them, they’d get a little more free with giving compliments. I was trying to help this SUPER drunk girl off of the floor with her male friend, and she turns to him and whispers, loudly😂, “He’s so hot…”, and her friend laughed and goes “she thinks you’re hot😂”

Or I was coming out of pizza place uptown and there was a Jeep full of girls, and I didn’t pay it any mind, but one of them yelled out “HOTTIIIIEEEE!!!” as they pulled away. I did that thing where you kind of look around to see if someone else is there, but there wasn’t, and I was like “wait…ME?”

I had a couple instances where girls walked up to me and just started making out with me, I’m like “there’s GOTTA be an easier way”😂 Girls telling me I’m cute as they’re leaving the bar, etc.

My lady thinks I’m like the hottest guy on the planet, lmao, which I appreciate, but it feels overboard. She’s definitely the better looking one, I don’t know why she’s so impressed😂

She was asking me yesterday about having my intelligence underestimated, which was more of a surprise to me, that some people think I’m dumb and then are surprised when I say something smart, lmao. Long story but there was this girl who liked me who I met my girlfriend through (she had no shot, she didn’t get peeled😅) and she apparently thought I was a dumbass. Like one time she was trying to get me to go smoke weed with her after work, and she offered to blaze me out “but it was conditional”, on something I can’t recall. Apparently I kind of cocked my head, I’m sure just like “Conditional? What conditions?”, but she thought I didn’t know what it meant, lmao. She told my lady I looked confused and tilted my head because I didn’t understand the word, “but it was endearing.” Lady, what the fuck?🤣🤣🤣 What adult doesn’t know “conditional?” Fuck sake, lmao

Anyway, we were laughing about that, and my girl was saying she thinks that girl (who delusionally thought we had some kind of flirty rapport going on…. WE DID NOT, lmao) liked the idea of me being a “himbo.”🤦‍♂️😂 Crazy shit, haha

I don't know, anyway, I guess enough people say it that I can believe it to some degree, but I get enough gals who seem to not even notice me, so I’ve always just thought I’m kind of hit-or-miss. My girlfriend fights me tooth and nail on it, I told her I might be a 3/10 to someone, and she’s like “there is NO WAY anyone would rate you that low.”

She was going on and on about how good looking I am to her family, with me right there, during this cookout while we were all eating, and her mom is agreeing, and her cousin, and her sister (in front of her husband…awkward, lmao), and they all had this goofy smile on their faces, and I honestly just wanted to hide. You think you want it until you’re getting it, it’s embarrassing😂

I still say I’m overrated. I remember being at the mall once in my 20s, and saw a modeling scout approach a girl and give her his card. He walked RIGHT PAST me, lmfao, so I must not be THAT good looking😂

So I’m no model…. actually, I WAS, because I worked at Hollister back in the day, and they hired us as “models” (the same people folding jeans and working the cash register😂) because that allowed them to hire based upon looks, which was part of their marketing strategy, attractive employees. But even there…we had some lookers, for sure, and everyone was generally decent looking, but it’s not like it was all dimes.

This turned out long as hell, lmao, that’s my style😝 But yeah, I’d say I can call myself generally attractive, nothing special, but presentable, and I generally like what I see in the mirror, plus others reinforce it with compliments. I think it’s less over the top for us men, unless we’re remarkable standouts, and the attention comes less frequently and less overt than attractive women receive.

Definitely the attention I get from attractive girls. When I got fat I stopped getting that attention, and instead got attention from less attractive girls. And when I got back in shape, I went back to getting attention from attractive girls. Even very sexual attention. That I don't take action on because I'm faithful.

For people who are attractive I think for most things in general it's probably all do to conditioning. Being told multiple times by multiple different people throughout their lives.

Kinda like if multiple different people throughout your life told you that you were great at one particular thing. After a while you'd think you were overall great at it.
