When I first started shaving, I used a mug with shaving soap and a brush, and I used a single blade injection razor. Later, I switched to using canned shaving cream or gel, and a multi-blade razor. Currently, I have returned to using a mug with shaving soap and a brush, and I use a five-blade replaceable head razor. I enjoy having warm shaving soap on my face and I shave slowly so that I get a very smooth shave. My wife doesn't want to snuggle if my face is "spikey!" What is your current preferred method for shaving? Why do you prefer it? Do you use canned shaving cream or gel, mug with shaving soap, or regular bath soap?
