Which foundation has a long-lasting effect?

Indisputably the Asimov brand, I started using his foundation in the 90's. I still feel the effect long after reading it. Plus, you're interested in History, Foundation talks a lot about real world History, to speculate and repurpose, for his imaginary universe's consistency.
Try Asimov's Foundation!
It's even free, there's certainly a copy in any library around you. If not, there's certainly a pdf copy around you, in French or in English!
You know what, there are even free, homemade audio books:

I stopped using foundation many years ago but I remember Maybelline dream satin airbrush perfection liquid foundation gave a very natural finish and would last all day.
I like this one

Also nyx has some decent ones that don't break the bank
If you're after a long-lasting foundation, Estée Lauder's Double Wear is a fantastic option. It promises all-day wear and stays put even in humid conditions. Another great choice is Fenty Beauty's Pro Filt'r Soft Matte, which provides long-lasting coverage with a wide range of shades. Both offer a flawless finish that holds up beautifully throughout the day! 😊

I have Urban Decay face bond. Waterproof and lasts a long time. Actually, kinda a bitch to get off. Have to use makeup wipes when I use that stuff.
I get it from the store Ulta.
I think this would last pretty long
of the ones i used before, i think the lancome ones last the longest. i think fenty too
Lime and sand vs concrete. One breaths one cracks. Can add tints...
A concrete one strong enough for double story
Concrete with steel reinforcements :)

But on a deeper level - do you have the feeling that engineering is not a 'female thing'?
That's why I admire French language (and wish I would have studied it more) - it's a lot more precise.
