I know some people are super loyal to their favorite brands…
others just grab whatever looks good and feels right.

I actually hate the idea of getting brand names. I hate having the brand on my clothes. To me, it's basically showing you're a sheep by wearing it around. It's free marketing for them. They get you to walk around with their brand stamped on your clothing as if you're walking around with a sign. It ruins the aesthetic of the clothing as well. I prefer no name brands or brands like H&M or UNICLO, which do not show their brand logos on the clothing.
So clothing brands don't really matter much to me. All I care about it the quality of the material and fit. I've gotten some decent stuff from Shein.
The only time it matters is if I know a certain brand fits me really well, but price will still determine my decision if the quality of the products are comparable. For example, a Tommy Hilfiger hoodie sells for anywhere from $70 to $85, just because it says the name on it. I can get the exact same quality cotton from some other brand for less than half that. It's stupid to pay double just for a brand name that's probably made in the same factory in China. LOL
For me, brands matter, but they’re not everything. I look at fit, fabric, and how the piece makes me feel first. Then the brand kicks in for trust: sizing consistency, quality, and style identity. I’m loyal to a few labels for jeans, blazers, and shoes, but I happily mix in random finds if they look chic and feel amazing.

I look for intrinsic quality and value and of course style and fit. I like to think I'm immune to luxury branding business models but I'm probably more like 95% immune. Why am I immune to luxury branding and designer labels? Because I've been inside the C-Suite (CFO) of corporations and I understand the marketing that creates brands. Why it's done. How it's done. And the fact that perception is often unrelated to reality because that's the purpose of marketing and branding. Clothing brands, watches, cars, etc. all market the experience, status, and envy, not the product. Only idiots focus on the brand and ignore the actual product. And it can be really profitable.
I couldn't care less about brand names when shopping for clothes, since it's much more difficult to find clothes that fit properly.
I'm fairly tall, but most of my height is in my torso, so it's especially difficult to find shirts that are long enough. Even "tall" shirts are too short in many instances. When I do find something that fits, it's a miracle, and I'll buy it, regardless of the brand.
You would think that would mean I could just buy from the same brand, the next time, though, but you would be wrong. I've tried that, and it never works. The next shirt will be too short. Brand loyalty fails me. 😔
Not in the least, unless I know it's a brand I can trust to fit well or last longer. Anybody that wears that junk that as the brand name across the front in huge letters SHOULD BE getting paid by that company for advertising for them!!! WHY would you wanna be a walking billboard for someone that charges YOIU through the nose for their clothes? Does it make you the cool kid on the block because you wear that company's clothes and go out of your way to let everyone know it?
They don't. If the clothing works for me, and it's at a price I can afford, I get it. I've had brand name pieces that were good and also ones that were lousy. Same for the "no-names" and house brands. I HAVE learned to avoid out of the house brands at Menards, however.
I would go back to a store if I like the quality and the price was right. I don't really care about brands. Certainly not shoes or bags with big letters stating the brand. You're basically a free walking ad for the company.
Yes and no for certain types of clothing I'm picky when it comes to brand but for others I don't really care.
Very little. I focus more on the price and comfort.
I pretty much never notice brands. The only one I do is the shoes I get, I found a set I like and not only do I get the same brand but the same model every time lol
They're actually Brahma steel toed shoes for my every day wear. I'm the last I would go through 3-4 pairs of shoes a year, now I buy 1-2 pairs a year.
Never cared too much but I might start wearing my own brand for promotional purposes
Yes i started about 2 weeks ago so it's legit new, marketing has been a challenge but I think I'm getting the hang of it, it's basically just strategic showboating 😂
I already sold a Christian hoodie, I was thinking of designing myself a hoodie with a QR code on the back so I can just walk around while people scan me 💀
It's not all Christian, it's for the most part streetwear so like hoodies and sweatpants and stuff, even tho I have more Christian designs right now I'm going to expand, it's a website, I also integrated it with eBay to make sales faster.
Am i allowed too? doesn't gag got like a anti promoting thing going on? Lol
Oh okay bet lol
yeah i don't pay attention to brands, just how it looks on me... also i care a tad bit about the quality.
Yes comfort is big for me too
I don't care much about clothing brands... price is more important.
can't be wasting money lol
Exactly :D
Mean nothing to me. I look for the first, price and quality of the material. Like im not paying $600 for a pair of sneakers.
I don't care too much about brands but I do have my favourites where I know that I can easily find stuff that I like.
Some, but I'm launching my own clothing brand.
Yes.
Brand names don't matter since I do most all my shopping at thrift stores anyway. 🤣
I take no notice at all. I just buy what I like.
Brand is almost entirely irrelavent. Comfort and appearance is all that matters. And not paying 80% for jeans that cost 1.50$ to produce.
I try to buy clothing made in USA when possible.
I'm super loyal to my food brands hehe
When it comes to clothes, i'll just buy whatever feels good to me
I like Armani t-shirts a lot.
I need at least 3 or 4 of them besides that I don't care about name brands as long the material is good.
Don't care for the brand but I pay more money made in usa
Not at all. If it's durable and does the job, it's good
Pants, boots/shoes and bras matter to me.
I used to buy cheaper ones 👎 not only are they uncomfortable but a couple washes and the damn things are falling apart lol
Depends on the piece of clothing.
I don't care what other people think about what I'm wearing
Only with running shoes.
On some things I like name brands
They don't matter to me at all
⚖️ Depends on the item
