I always look at the back of them. Sometimes, it's "high fashion" in the front but it's "I'm just going to slip them on and press down the back". Do you know what I mean?

I’m drawn to clean, well-kept styles more than specific brands. Love classic white sneakers, simple leather sneakers, Chelsea boots, desert boots, and minimal leather loafers. Nothing too flashy or overly chunky. If they’re clean, in good condition, and match the outfit, that’s instantly more attractive.

I love women's shoe styles. Which do I like the most? Espadrilles with ankle wraps, Mary Janes, preferably with multiple straps, high-heeled oxfords, any shoe with an ankle strap. My wife has a large collection, mostly designer labels bought at resale shops.

I like girls in sneakers, and in flat boots (e. g combat boots).

During the Summer, gladiator sandals are ok too, makes them look kinda like modern Amazons.

I really don't like high heels, wedges, and spiked shoes.

Flip flops are also not attractive.

I wouldn't say shoes, but i will say there's way more fashion variety for women, than there is for men. Even something as simple as socks are more varied for women than there is for men. Knee-high socks are comfortable, toe socks are super comfortable, and i enjoy the nightmare before Christmas themed socks. For jackets and vest, crop jackets look great on men when paired with a vest or shirt. Pajamas more varied with character onesies, top & bottom combos, fluffy robes.
