How can I get my confidence and glow back postpartum without feeling vain?

Im hoping i can find some ladies on her who can relate and have some good advice and tips.

I gave birth 12 days ago and im slowly starting to recover now. Everyday is getting better. The swelling from my feet and hands are finally starting to go down and other bits and bobs are starting to go back to normal.

I've died my hair and got my eyebrows done and I feel thats a massive improvement. I feel i have to put my daughter first before me and im being vain caring about my looks but I just want a little bit of my old self back again. When i look good I feel good.

Im so embarrassed about how I look especially with all the visitors coming over.
Im fat, spotty and got hair growing everywhere.

People are saying im looking really well but I know they are just saying that out of pity.
I bought a waist trainer but im not allowed to use it till im 6 weeks apparently. My clothes all fit awkward and I've got piles of washing everywhere. If I try to wear anything nice it always ends up in me leaking through in public or getting sick on me.

I've always been very colourful, pretty, girly girl and that clearly shows through my daughter and how I dress and care for her but yeah im just so embarrassed with how I look and want to bonce back. It doesn't help im of the insta generation were i see these other mothers bouncing back to a size 6 after taking a fart
