I did this thing with a shy girl I know like me and I like her. So I called her and asked "are you busy tomorrow?" "No" she says "ok then meet me at Ryes at 16.00, dress to impress for we are going on a date, I'm not taking a no for a answer, see you then" and I hung up before she could answer. We went on a date the next day and dated for 4 years.
If you have to change your personality in order to make someone want to date you, give up.
Every guy puts on an act one way or another. It's like how you ladies wear makeup. We men have to put on a certain personality

That's kind of hard if you are not friends or you don't even know each other. The fact that you invite a girl out IS TO GET TO KNOW HER BETTER AND MAKE HER EASY AROUND YOU!
Yeah... No. I am not going to waste time, get repeatedly put down and risk persistently bugging a girl that is truly uninterested just because I may get a nice "shy" girl that is too immature to respect a guys time and emotions.
I'm on the same situation right now, I really like a girl at my job and we have been working together for a while, I ask her to go out yesterday but she just said that she will tell me. She is really shy but she actually likes to tell me things about her personal life so I thought that I was ready to go out with her but I guess I was wrong, however I will be patient and see what happens, I do really like so I don't mind to wait.
If a girl is too shy to approach a guy, than the guy needs to man up and help her ease up to him. If your not willing, then fine, you just aren't gonna be dating that type of girl.
I think we'd be very compatible, but I'm probably coming off as a confident, outgoing guy with no fears in the world, when really its quite the opposite. But I don't want to come off as dull and boring which I naturally am. I feel like at times she avoids me and I don't know what to think of that? When I'm with her sometimes it seems like she really likes me and other times her ambiguity throws me off.
Hi, I'm trying to get a shy girl to hang out with me outside of school. We're in college and she is a 1st year, I'm a 3rd year. She told me that she has never had a boyfriend and has told me things like "she tends to disappear when people get closer to her" She has shown interest in me by always complimenting my style and saying I'm funny and interesting. We have no classes together and she has no cell phone or social media.

This advice sounds very good. I'm in the exact same situation where I know the girl definitely likes me but I'm out of ideas and have given up. she is too shy and inexperienced.

But i, personally, don't like shy girls. I'm more into straightforward women that say what they want. Shy girls need to be pursued consistently and im not a chaser.
My favorite pick-up line for a shy girl is "Hey baby, I saw you checking out my goods. You want a little sample? A little try before you buy? Come 'ere, stand and deliver!"
lol, There is no "right way". And if there is, it will change completely for the next girl. ;)
Good take. There's only one flaw. It's made from the assumption that all girls are you, and they aren't. So what works for you will fail completely with another woman.
